She said he asked a question and then hasn't said anything else. I guess it takes time to digest for an 11 year old especially given the situation.

 

He'll be great once the baby gets here there's less sibling rivalry with such a big age gap

It will mean he will have a bit of responsibility to help look after his younger sibling once he/she arrives.

 

My husband has 12 years between him and his older sister. She use to take him everywhere she went but I bet males might feel differently.

I have two older brothers who are 13 and 14 years older than me. I'm not particularly close with the younger brother of the two but my oldest brother has always had my back more than anyone on the planet.

It probably depends on his personality, but chances are he'll feel very protective of him/her

Why don't people watch their damn kids?

This little 8 year old and his 5 year old sister were in the street on bicycles.

I went out to the trash can and he tells me that my dog chased his sister.

I'm like, "My dog can't leave her yard so if you stay out of my yard you'll be okay."

Then he mouths back at me that my dog did chase her.

Well guess what you little cross-eyed brat. If you aren't in my driveway then my dog can't reach you.

Then hubby tells me that they were playing hide-n-seek in my son's yard yesterday.

Surprise. Their mom has a new baby and thinks these two little kids are going to drive the rest of us crazy.

I'll call the cops to her kids playing in the street so damn fast...

 

The stir fry sounds amazing.

I've tried to tell my wife I finished off the rest of the 24 macnuggets we got on the highway but she doesn't believe me. I'm like no, serious. I have. "no you haven't" she keeps saying.

I just got word that both of the injured officers are out of the hospital and recuperating at home this evening.

That is good to hear.

 

I am traveling in a few days and have managed to land myself a nasty cold. Fingers crossed it eases up before the flight!
