Hundreds of children being taken from their parents at US border

Maybe people shouldn’t bring their children with them when they commit crimes such as sneaking across borders of sovereign nations.

 

I think you're totally missing the point. The children are basically human shields. They enable people to jump ahead of everyone who doesn't have a child with them. Sure, it's all a scam, but we have to accept the children if only to save them from the assholes who are using them for a free ticket to the US.

Otherwise the US will fall into a horrible sense of shame.

Or, that's what's expected from this fucking con game. If only the people in the "caravans" realized how horribly they are being used.

Ultimately they figure it out. It's too late by then of course.

 

Where should they leave them?

It's not the "crime" you think it is when it's under asylum which is what these people think is what is waiting for them.

I dont know about you guys but I find it extremely disheartening when comfortable middle class people from wealthy nations who have never had to flee anything in their lives speak from their proverbial thrones and try to pretend like people fleeing from the poorest and most dangerous countries on earth are really just doing a con job and trying to get one over on us. Such a tunnel visioned, entitled attitude to take

 

I find it weird how many people seem to be in denial about the HORRIBLE human traffic nightmares that are happening as a direct result of being soft on the border. Americans didn't make all those rape trees draped in underwear "trophies" taken by smuggling rapists. Children are being abused for the sake of an open border? What sense is there in that?

 

I'll tell you what sense there is in that. An open border creates blah blah blah blah blah.

 

Human trafficking victims and refugees are victims of the same criminal element. These are not mutually exclusive things

Compassion is admirable but practically speaking if we allow everyone on earth who wants to come here our standard of living would plummet. Our country is wealthy and free because our ancestors built it that way. We do need immigrants and we should assist refugees all we suggest is that it be managed in a responsible manner. People flowing across borders is not the way to go.

every American in the country now could live in the state of Texas with plenty of room to spare. We also have the abilty to grow enough food for every human on Earth not America today. There is no decline in life. Just racists trying to frame it anyway but the truth. People like you suffering' comes from the idea you have to learn Spanish.

You think they can take your job? What mistakes did you make if someone like that can? I gurentee no one who read above a 5th grade level worried is about this. It's country blue collar folk who did not see a value in education that compete with people who don't speak English.

Why would someone sell another human? Money. And the money is there since it's so hard NOT easy to cross the American border. So people pay coyotes who may or may not steal some people. If they could cross as easily as you claim there is no market for that.

The women crossing are also often not good picks for the sex trade anyway. Old and with kids is not what men pay for.

 

Good lord man... Far from every person in your or mine country that has to depend on menial or blue collar jobs has a problem with valuing education. A lot of people are simply far better suited for these jobs because they're more practical than theoretical inclined, or simply not intellectuals. You seriously tend to look down on these people as a whole. Just because they can't do higher education doesn't make them retarded or evil, or a lesser person than you in any way.
There are a lot of people in our societies who can't do higher education. They don't have less societal value than an intellectual twat.

Even a person with no high school diploma is more likely to be hired than a foreign person in America. If you have a social security number and speak English you are hired. That was my point. The idea that you can loose your job is made up. Most any industry does not worry about this.

I did not mean to say you need higher education. Just that you need to smart enough to know that as an American you already have the advantage. If you think you do not you believe right wing lies.

I suppose a lot of my anger is tied up in the right's hate of education. So I take on myself to support it. When someone says they are worried about a Mexican taking their job I know they have made certain choices that go beyond employment. It goes into racism and ignorance of science so I just don't like it.

 

Border control is not like a war zone. What Trump wants is what you do in war or a outbreak of disease.

It's racists who want to go to this extreme.

For example if I go to Canada now they have "control" of the border in a way we do not as do many European nations.

Racists may want it to go to extremes, but not everyone who wants control is a racist. And it may not be a shooting war but the lack of control is a serious problem. Let’s debate immigration and refugees but let’s have responsible control. We don’t have that now.
