Yeah I don't think I prefer either. It's just an amazing song.

 

They're both decent. I always preferred the original, though.

 

If I could start again.. A million miles away..

 

I've listened to NIN's version like 5 times today, it's hitting me in the feels...but maybe I should switch it up and listen to Cash's version a few more times today for good measure

I always ruin good songs this way, if i'm feeling it i'll listen to it over and over again until i'm sick of it then I have to take a good 2 or 3 year break from it

He did a pretty solid cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus too..or maybe he was covering Manson's cover of Depeche Mode

 

Instead of flattening your pointer finger just have it mute the top string by lightly touching it while you play the string below it.

The string furthest from you is the top string btw.
