What's Happening???

I think I'm going to drop hubby off at the doctor's for his monthly appointment and go to the thrift store while he's there.

The county has our water turned off for the day so I'll heat some water we've saved in jugs to wash up before I get dressed.

Hmmm...Yeah, this beats a nap which I frequently grab during the day. There's caffeine in the world so I can do this, right?

I go to see the dietitian this morning. I may be a pound or so heavier than I was two weeks ago when I saw her last, but I'm working on it. And I have a new strategy: for the next month or so I won't be eating out. That oughta do it!

Uhhhhh drank too much.

 

It was stupid of me to neck that can of jack Daniels on the way out. it's completely tipped me over the top. I feel better now for going to the toilet haha hut yeah nah, I'll be right once this water soaks in. I'm not ridden off anything.

Anyone ever try this "dry body brushing" thing? Feels pretty good.

 

I got nothing to do at work for the rest of the week.

 

Why is that sad?

 

Cause I'll be bored to tears...so tempting to use my vacation time but I'm not. I wan't to use that later in the year.

 

Can you get away with reading or HFing or whatever.. I dont know what you do.

 

No, I usually just walk around uselessly and ask people if they need help with anything. Someone eventually feels sorry for me and gives me some menial task to perform. I wouldn't dare HF at work...if the manager or supervisor looked over my shoulder and saw some of these topics...

 

Practice standing on one leg. Especially your non dominant one.

I hardly ever get bored because I have a whole load of things like this that I do.

 

Blogging and reflecting

 

I had fun at the thrift store today.

I got 5 dinner plates, a Forever21 sweater for granddaughter, 3 little metal tins the triplets had requested, a basketball for my grandson, and and American Idol logo fitted ball cap for myself.

Total - $12.25

 

Is that what they're calling maga hats these days?

I kid I kid.

 

Ate a late-ish dinner and now it's time for some soft clothes and some vegflix.
