What's Happening???

So when you said the other day you were finally getting the hang of guitar, you were just being facetious i remember you mentioning your band when you posted here few years ago but I had forgotten

Or do you play a different instrument other than guitar in your band? Are you das drummer?

No. I was actually kind of serious when I said I thought I was getting the hang of playing guitar....finally. But....I've said that and been wrong many times before. I could be wrong now too. It's kind of like the more you know (for me anyway), the more I realize what I didn't know before or maybe even that I didn't know that I didn't know it....if that makes sense. Then I sometimes feel foolish for thinking that I'm good at this. But I have fun and that is the most important part. I also get paid....which isn't the most important part but it does make me feel good to make a few bucks doing something I enjoy.

But I've been playing for close to 30 years. I am not terrible but I should be better than I am. We all take different paths.

 

I hope that doesn't make me look like a jerk for thinking that about music. That is my own opinion of my craft. Not what anyone else is doing. It doesn't matter how "good" we are as long as we are having fun playing music.

I just saw the first insect of spring and it was a mantis I'm still really freaked out about bugs but I just put him on a stick then take him to the hedges. I have read before that butterflies and also mantis insects are the sign of a healthy garden, basically the mantis eats all the insects because your garden is healthy. I hope it's true.

On that note I need to get a hedger on a pole with a chainsaw. My neighbour uses one on his and tbh our hedge is heavy and electric and you get tired holding triggers in.

 

I've found the best indication of a healthy garden is an abundance of earthworms

My bluebirds are starting to fool around with their nesting box, a sure sign of Spring. There will be eggs before the end of the month. Still amazes me she can squeeze those thing out her butt.
