All 3 boys I got fixed the other day have been running around like no man's business. It is like instead of them just getting their nuts removed, they shot them full of adrenalin.

Thank goodness with boys (getting neutered) it is fine for them to run around like they are crazy the day after. They didn't wait a whole day...hell they were running around that night. lol

Everybody (cats and The Mother) are sleeping now - gad it took long enough for that to happen!

Tomorrow the son and I put flea meds on these many cats. That isn't as much fun as it may sound. smh I must say that they have NO reaction to Revolution...like it doesn't hurt or burn them, and they don't act weird and pitiful afterward....like a lot of my cats did with many other flea meds. The only part about applying flea meds they don't like is have to sit still while I separate the hair on the back of their necks so the son can apply the flea med right on the skin.

 

Revolution for all of those cats must get pretty expensive. That stuff isn't cheap, from what I remember. Although it may be cheaper down there than it is here.

my mom is coming into town.
i tried to dissuade her without outright telling her not to. she booked a ticket. shes staying with a friend.
no one in the family is willing to see her but me/ my fam. im going to have to straighten her out and set boundaries. she could ruin my relationships with my dad and my brothers. i wont sacrifice those relationships for her. if she makes things hard, she will lose me and mine too.
and, because of her piss poor planning and timing, my dad is now super rushing us yo get all of her stuff out of the house asap so she cant go there looking for things. he will have her arrested if she does.
i need strength, motivation, and stronger weed.
this is unhealthy stress.

 

It sounds like you and your dad have a good plan. Just stick to your guns.

Karma at its best

 

Hard to tell if those are recent or past. but I checked that one a couple times, recent.
Ive always been impressed by the safari soldiers that do their best to keep the animals safe. Good humans .. That's something Id like to do. Smoke weed everyday walking around with a machine gun making sure the animals are safe. Hell yeah.

 

I used to be one of those people that would say "Karma will show you...Karma will get you/them/whoever for whatever". I've seen way too much shit happen, as well as pure evil people prosper to have even the slightest belief that Karma is going to do a damn thing.

Every rare now and then I've seen and/or learned of people getting what they deserved, but certainly not enough to go all "Karma will get you or help you".....I think its just a chance (a SMALL chance) that someone will ever actually get what they deserve - both good and bad.

I totally understand hunting, and seeing as I'm not vegan NOR do I have even the teeniest interest in becoming one...I know that hunting can provide much needed food for a family.
Its the trophy killers that make me want to vomit. The people on safari that shoot those beautiful wild creatures also induce evil thoughts in my head, as well as I truly do hope those people are injured and/or killed as they are out "trophy killing." I am not so naive to think that people in Africa or where ever don't kill animals, but those that are NOT POACHING are killing for survival, and for the actual meat. I can't/won't put anybody down for that.

Revolution is the only flea meds that the exact medication used on dogs can be used on cats. I buy a box containing 3 vials for extra large dogs, and that lasts a lot longer and more importantly is cheaper overall than if I bought a box with 3 vials for med to large size cats, which wouldn't last even half as long.

It isn't cheap, but it is about the same price compared to other flea meds purchased through a vet.

 

The cats and The Mother have eaten and I am waiting on my evening phone call. Have you ever tired of something and not been able to say it?

some trophy hunts kill older and sick animals and the cost helps the management of the game parks holding those animals..not always but most of the time, also provides meats to villagers..

 

Yeah but on the other it shows them how much it does bother you when you do explode. Plus you can always say

Look, I've tried to get over this on my own but... A-BOMB!

My psych medication atm seems to switch off the part of me that feels bad about these sorts of things now. So if I blow a gasket, someone getting sprayed.

In the past I would feel remorse, empathy etc. for people in a way which I made myself feel bad for the way I am and how I feel etc. Not for a couple of weeks now though I feel like young Jocelyn again with no fucks given and I like it, I'm enjoying myself again.

I used to feel I didn't want the medication that would stop me feeling how I am and just stop me from being me, but I'm finding it's blocked out the negativity that stopped me from being me, so it was well worth it I probably should have done it a long time ago. So now I'm just confident with being myself.

 

I'm pretty drunck. Budlite. Jägermeister and a few vodka lemonades . I'm still looking for a party. Making calls and texts but coming up short. Time is running out.

Hoping I get a call or text in the next few hours. Can still end the night well.
