I just recently read a 20 second hugging increases levels of the "love hormone" oxytocin. ... A 20-second hug, along with 10 minutes of hand-holding, also reduces the harmful physical effects of stress, including its impact on your blood pressure and heart rate. This makes sense, since hugging is known to lower levels of stress hormones like cortisol.

I think this is why we all love hugs is much.

I'm gonna get that hand holding in the not to far future.

high winds, and oddly enough, warmer temperatures. from never peaking above freezing the previous week, we are now in the balmy 40s and 50s.
right now its raining outside. and i think the last time i posted on here, or the time before that, whenever it was, the power flickered about an hour, forcing a reset.
nothing important was lost in the process.

ouch and healing thoughts. we all need some protein, even if we prefer to seek it in ways that avoid having to kill anything.
milk isn't poison, too much of any one thing, which means too little of everything else, might be.

20 minuets actually sounds way too long to abuse a purfactly good chunk of dead cow.

i remember the slot car scene, before we had computers.
more interested in making scenery then racing anything.
never could figure out how to stay on the track on corners and still beat anyone.
i guess i didn't have enough interest in doing so.
no doubt computers can be programed to.

 

I could have made the steak more rare but hubby and I prefer it well done and tender.

I've researched and there's nothing my leg needs but rest.

The oldest granddaughter has the first tournament of the new softball season this weekend. We were really excited to go but I don't know if the leg will let me. Hopefully, I will be wrong about it and it will be all better by then.

We had a snow storm. Work got canceled today for both my jobs. Can't go out to the farms because the power got knocked out. Can't go to my office job because of slow customer flow. I'm telecommuting from home today and it's quite nice.

Sadly, it's raining and it's melting the snow away.

 

Seen security camera in elevator at the pool venue... Start making out and spanking each other for it.  made me lolz. We lolz. The toilets were werid like it was along a wooden wall but the door to the toilet was also the same as the wall so unless you see the push plaque, you don't know there's a door there. I walk around in circles trying to find toilet that useless bar girl keep say oh round corners round corners. Eventually found it, came back to my group with stories about how it's like Doom and Wolfenstein in here. Got some lolz.

Also got told off for vaping inside. whoops. Horrible venue. Stink like piss, probably because no one could find the toilets.

6 pool tables, black felt, ughhh and 3 tables were torn up with tears. Every table rolled bad in my first win I already missed two balls into this one pocket and so I Aim black ball to miss to the left by about 1.5 inch, And it only barely made the pocket by hitting the right side it must have roller 2-3 inch to the right.

Horrible, Venue should be ashamed of itself.

I had good day though and evening. Feel bit too drunk. best news is I thought my medication would, well I thought it could hamper my libido but nope.i feelz good.

Actually some thing make me laugh when I post on political threads because I do not read watch or listen to news so most times um just completely making shit up when I type in political threads yet I also feel I hammer the nail on the head too most times and still bring up relevant things even though I don't know what I'm talking about. Lol

My dad always told me never talk politics with people or religion. I don't mind religion cause I can kinda hold my own..... Even though these days I talk about aliens a lot lol. But it just seems so clear to me.

But politics nahh I got no clue. But you know, politics is like sports in the sense that, It's teams and people against one another and just like sports, I tend to run with the underdogs and those that nobody like. There I said it.

Yep, it'll go back to night time in summer season. There's few leagues in the federation, this one is pretty full on, we up against state, international and national reps and champions. They're all hustlers, nobody has a job they make money playing pool, which is why this specific league gets away with playing in morning.

Then those guys will play pool all day and night and win money.. I sit back and get drunk and watch.

I find it easier to play at night as you don't get the glare from the sun on the table or balls.

Iow that place looked eerily similar to the venue tonight but we have black felt.. But I don't fight.. Or get into arguments like that. I'm a lovable drunk.

I like this song Triplex on the new ICP cd, at first I thought it was a psychiatrist talking to multiple personalty disorder but it's 3 serial killers. One is a womaniser, the other eats people and the other is like trans or something. And at the end of the song the psychiatrist is like ughh, fuck this. Eddie, I'm going home to sleep with my wife, Hank, if you want to eat something try my balls and Dan... I don't know what you are... Dan.. just the voices make me laugh.

My leg is swollen but I can put some weight on it this afternoon. I have to be mindful about it but I can do it so I'm getting around on the cane vs. the crutches.

I'm staying home so I'm not going on any stairs or hills - just good flat floor and front deck.
