I love Kamala and would vote for her. I might vote for her. I'm just concerned about the cash she takes from AIPAC. On that issue, I support Ilhan Omar.
Trump has failed at Presidential dealmaking once again. Trump is attempting to repurpose $8 billion from the recently passed spending bill. The U.S. farmers who already have been damaged at least twice by his steel and aluminum tariffs and retaliatatory tariffs on their agricultural products , the victims of national disasters, and other groups expecting the money in its original intent are probably not going to be any more pleased by his move than the federal workers who lost about 35 days of their money during the Trump-initiated shutdown and the contractors who won't be reimbursed because they are not federal employees. Trump said he had to do a shutdown to make his point about his wall. It's vintage Trump, like the spat he started about his illegal oversize flagpole and flag at Mar-a-Lago in the 1990's to make his point about something else he wanted, such as the land adjacent to the Palm Beach airport for his planned golf course. Trump's declaring a national emergency to get his wall. He's forcing a constitutional crisis. Analysis: The president made his move. Now, the courts will decide who really has the power over the wall. By Jonathan Allen Feb. 15, 2019, 7:30 AM EST / Updated Feb. 15, 2019, 12:47 PM EST Trump asked for a wall. He’s forcing a constitutional crisis. excerpt: "Instead, he announced a national emergency Friday morning that would allow him to draw $8 billion from the just-passed bill and other existing federal accounts to build the wall anyway, according to an administration official. Lawsuits will ensue, and the courts will have to decide whether and how to intervene in a power struggle between the other two branches."
So NPC news now comes out and says Russiagate was all a hoax. It doesn't matter at this point. It's been 2 years and most of America has already forgotten about where Russiagate originated: (steering attention away from Wasserman-Shulz and rigging the election against Bernie)
I guess I missed that. When did that happen? What NPC news was that? The National Enquirer? The Onion?
this is not about illegal aliens, or drug smugglers, or human trafficking, or even MS13. It's about trump wanting something to be remembered by. The only other thing he will be remembered for is being a) a fucking moron, and b) a jackass.
As usual, Trump denies objective facts. 'Ann Coulter — I don't know her': The most combative moments from Trump's press conference excerpt: "Trump has claimed that a border wall will stop much of the drugs flowing into the U.S. from other countries. At the news conference, he pushed back on reports — which cite U.S. Customs and Border Protection data — saying that the vast majority of illegal drugs come into the U.S. not from unsecured border areas, but from legal ports of entry. "When you listen to politicians, in particular certain Democrats, they say, 'It all comes through the port of entry,'" Trump said. "It's wrong, it's wrong. It's just a lie. It's all a lie.""
Storm, I was using her as an example. Not sure who I am voting for. I kinda like Kobuchar, and I do like Kamala. Note: yesterday I heard Biden is going to run. He gets my vote for sure, as I think he has the best chance of beating trump.Ideally, he would pick a younger running mate. Hopefully, a woman.
I agree, Klobuchard is one tough cookie! She's smart and she could chew-up any Republican in a debate. I hope Ilhan Omar runs for president when she's old enough. She did an A-Plus questioning of Elliot Abrams.
Probably not, but her best one-liner was: "The only national emergency is that our President is an idiot".Ann Coulter Hits Back at Trump: ‘The Only National Emergency Is That Our President Is an Idiot’
Trump is again showing us the Republican Party's lack of spine and the utter devotion they have to him. After rejecting family values, embracing communism and Russia, and abandoning support of our allies, our generals, courts, and intelligence agencies; the Republican Congress will now uphold another grab of power by Trump and abdicate their constitutional roll as a balance to presidential power. Even though Congress has continually refused to provide money for Trump's wall, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has expressed support for Trump's "emergency" inacted to circumvent the role of Congress in allocating funds, meaning Congress will fail to get a majority vote to override a Trump veto of any resolution Congress issues to end Trump's contrived emergency. Then it will proceed to the Supreme court which has been stacked in their favor due to their refusal to even conduct a hearing for Obama's selection and the railroading of Mr. "I like beer" into that court. What this means is that Trump has the full support of his party. Nothing that comes out of the Mueller investigation will faze them. Any evidence will be dismissed as fake news no matter how criminal, or how obviously damaging to the country. To paraphrase, Trump could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and he wouldn’t lose any Republican support. Hail Caesar!
Trump and his Republican cronies are pushing the Citizenship question on the census form all the way to the Supreme Court, because they want the power to do some redistricting before elections in 2020. They know it will be their only chance to retain some seats. It's just 20 months until elections.
I think Six-eyed is referring to a favorite right-wing meme, Non Playing Characters--those grey, blank figures who are supposed to be zombies programmed by the "libral" media like CNN and MSNBC. But maybe he means the others. Maybe he'll tell us.
Hold your pants on. Sheesh. I have a life Senate: No direct proof of conspiracy between Trump campaign, Russia NBC also rhymes with NPC
