What's Happening???

I don't know about anyone else but I come here for more than a few reasons. Some of them are:

1. Entertainment - sometimes this place is simply fun
2 .Learning - over the years I have learned quite a bit about quite a few subjects just from reading the forums
3. Meeting new people - I've had great conversations with folks and made a few friends along the way

There's enough angst in real life and if that's all I saw in here I'd be gone in a heartbeat.

 

Just finished both Valentine's day poems.
I'm glad it didn't get down to the last day.

One for the postal service today for the 14th
The other hand deliver on the 14th

Actually gives me time to write another one. I'm on a creative rollercoaster.

4. Its not Facebook

Pictures of their kids, Pictures of what they had for lunch, super boring asinine quotes that are supposed to blown your mind, pictures of a fender bender they had in a shopping mall car park, and everyone is suposed to give a shit

Garrrgh, and I still dont get it.

Hip forums is full of people creating their own little online personas.....and yet still ends up being more real than supposedly real life reported through a facebook lens

It's one of those days where I overstimated how sunny it was so I kept my windows open for too long, and now can't get warm.
This calls for a hot shower, extensive skincare routine and tea.

Random observation - there are a lot of arguments going on in other threads .
