I like him. I hated Something About Raymond so I never knew I liked him until I saw him in Eulogy, which was pretty funny

Now that was some excellent slow cooked sticky pork. Probably the best flavour I've mixed.

  11. The lady at work says to call next time I need a ride. I'm walking in 20 below. Yet, everyone left and no one offered me a ride home. People are so full of it. I don't need them anyway, because I'm manly. Walking in twenty below is nothing to me.

I'm taking wifey to the football Bayern v Mainz but nothing on afterward so probably rest the back more as no doubt stadium seating will inflict problems.

Have to start practicing for next week's races at Atlanta too. :)

Have fun with making hash and contemplating life, if you want more of a mindfuck the book I'm reading atm will make you question things even more and leave you pretty depressed, so maybe don't read it lol.

He said it would be a depressive read but there's light at the end of the tunnel so I need to finish it but atm I have never felt so.. dismal in my reality.

Sounds like my kinda book lol, what is it?

Sometimes when i'm feeling a little dark, reading books that are equally or greater amounts darker than I am are somewhat soothing for some reason

I don't think it'll be up your alley but it's called slave species of the gods and has helped me bridge the gap between creationism and evolution. Now I have a better understanding of the two, I think I believe in both. Anyway it goes on about just how fractured out DNA is as if we were purposely designed to live and die and that's kind of about it. So using the earliest of writings and scriptures known to man from Sumerian it goes into detail about the sagas and how humans were created by intelligent visitors, created us to be mine slaves 200,000 years ago and how we've evolved into who we are today. :p

It is depressing in the sense that, the way we are humans is geared to following order, doing what we are told and believing what we are taught, is basically what I get out of it so far, which makes complete sense to me too had we been engineered to be slaves in the first place.

It is enlightening also, in the sense that, the way I am and my characteristics seem to go against the grain of said slave creation, so atm the light at the end of the tunnel to me is that, as laughable as it might sound, I may even be slightly more enlightened than others.

And now that persons thread about evolution and enlightenment makes a lot more sense to me.

When the shop opens again this year we have a new woman who is going to do Saturdays and Sundays.. It's going to be the first time in y e a r s that when people refer to "the weekend" and its connotations, I'll be able to relate. I'm actually quiet excited about it.
