the mystery is that there are humans who WANT to live in cities.

star trek started when i was in high school and still living in very small towns along the railroad.
star trek and wilderness always being less then a half a mile away, if not surrounding the very house itself, saved my life,
because in those days, no one had computers yet. no one who was like an ordinary living human person.

spoc's vulcan example taught me how to deal with humans and their hatred of logic.

Depends on the city. For me, cities are more fun to visit than to inhabit.

I dont remember my dreams very often, but sometimes I have these vivid dreams that i'm in another dimension..or something. Last night I had one of those. I was flying through space, just basically richocheting back and forth and I couldnt catch myself and I couldnt stop it

Dont need a dream book to tell me what that means. I am not in control. The universe is in control. Stupid ol universe

  9. I remember bits and pieces, and how it all made me feel. Funny how you wake up, don't remember much, but the feelings stay.
And it's not one solid dream, it's like strange sad lonely unsettling dream episodes.
I don't think there's any meaning to it though.

We've got to go to the airport tomorrow to pick up hubby's niece, then we're all going to the hospital.

    Yuck.

It would be bad enough but...these people are super weird to add to it.

I tried to get out of it. I made hubby tell me that he needs me. I still don't want to.

    I'm just tired and hurting.

I'll be the one that pulls everyone together and makes them feel better.

    I always am.

Don't ignore yourself. Sometimes you got to put yourself first before you can be good for other people.

Do you dream about yourself often?
Coincidentally when my dreams became too vivid I reached out and bought a dream catcher that I kept on my wall. It worked but it worked too well. I stopped dreaming. Then one day I started to get them again, bad ones again. I looked into my dream catcher and I read that it needed to be cleansed. So I picked it up and the first thing I noticed was its weight. It was heavy! I put it on the clothes line to cleanse in the sun and when I bought it back in it was its ordinary weight (I know how stupid this sounds) and I placed in differently in my room, half in the window so it would always see light and be cleansed.

    And I stopped dreaming again.

Every now and again I will dream but it's an art long gone from my conscious now. I would also barely ever dream of myself, instead I lived in others as a spectator. I had zero control over my new bodies actions I could only see and feel, and everybody I traversed with was a horrible person, that did unspeakable things. Horrible things.

I have also had some bizarre experiences involving dreams that will take too long to type out and read so I won't bore you with the details, and even though I was living in a nightmare both awake and asleep, what was happening to me was so magnificent at the same time, the experiences and how I had to deal with them. This wasn't just an asleep thing, I would even fall unconsciously asleep out of nowhere and have these very specific dreams, I would wake up in such a state of shock, with scratches, cuts and bruises all over my body and not even my wife knew what was going on. My parents freaked out. Eventually I went and talked it through with a Norwegian guru I had a lot of faith in. He told me what to do to stop this and I did and it worked.

If I would try and explain it would sound like a fantasy, but it wasn't a fantasy at all. It galvanised every single belief I had about the spiritual world etc.

Initially I began to think about something I had read in the vampire chronicles by Anne Rice, The Body Thief where the soul could be able to traverse from. Body to body I began to think subconsciously maybe I was able to do this, traverse unknowingly into somebody else far, far away.

I don't want that to be true, because it is too much. I have never spoken even to my wife about what I've had to watch and experience in my dreams as other people, it's all just too much and the worst part is, I remember the bad ones all too clearly.
