Does anybody use a bookmark that's not just a piece of paper but an actual bookmark that traverses from book to book that you read?

What does it look like? Is it cardboard or fabric, wood or a synthetic material? Does it say anything?

There's some cute ones out there such as the Waldo man Being squished in the pages while his legs hang out. This personalised wood bookmark is pretty cool too.

Atm I am using a utilities rates bill, which is depressing.

I have a few of those regular cardboard ones, and one from Turkey that was made of fabric.
One made of wood would be nice.

 

I keep my hard back books in good condition and use a book mark (i have one a friend gave me with an Emily Dickenson quote on it) but I dog ear the hell out of my paperbacks. My paperbacks are well worn and well loved.

 

Bookmarks are one of the many things I have tried making to sell. People who use them loved them, but not enough people use them. I'll make you all bookmarks for christmas.

 

I have only read the first chapter so far but I know I'm going to get frustrated in the middle because he basically says that in the intro that unless you're mind is geared towards calculations etc. One might struggle and that will be me in certain chapters.

What do/did you think?

He says to read this book before the book I just finished, so I've done it in reverse. Oh well, the book I finished wasn't really anything I didn't know already and just brushed up with stuff I'd already known.
