I just woke from an afternoon nap... I had a great dream.

 

I'm bored. Might go out to shops.

 

I'm home with all the cats, the two dogs, and the hubby.

It's raining.

I'll do some cleaning and some watching of t.v. Currently, I'm watching the series "Victoria".

 

The Atlanta Braves had a fan day today.

Here are all 5 of my grandkids at the Braves Stadium in Atlanta.

 

I decided to get up on the roof with flood lights to fix a gutter problem. It's going to be hard to fix without taking the whole gutter off but I've devised a solution that will fix the problem, anchor it more and have it do what it was meant to do in the first place without taking the guttering off. Basically an L shaped anchor into the support beam and the other side will the get drilled into the guttering and it'll stay there nice and flat.

There's a lot of stuff this house has had done that I just shake my head at sometimes. Anyway this will be fixed shortly I just wait for my drill battery to charge.

Is it dodgy? Yes
Would a tradesman do it differently? Probably
Will it get the job done? Fuck oath.

 

We call that Redneck Engineering 'round these parts. Usually, it involves Duct Tape, lol

Aw! Man! I love me some cable ties!

 

Yeah cable ties are there best, that's how our rabbit hutches are made and my clothes line is all pieced together when it breaks with cable ties lol.

My wife isn't impressed at how I've done this as my bracket is silver and the rest of it is black, so she said it's not pleasing. Pff. Well you get up there and do it yourself then woman, you ain't gone see shit when I spray paint it black anyway.

 

Yep, can't forget spray paint to finish a fine job!

 

Works like a charm now. job well done. I'm happy with myself even though she's not.

 

Black & silver don't go well together? Hmmmm. This must be why I don't do fashion

 

Well apparently not, I actually think it looks good I understand my bracket is not square to the guttering but that's not my fault, that's the guttering fault. My bracket square to beam. Right bang in the centre, so I'm not taking that shit, I know that much.

 

I also took the Christmas tree down.
