I often think that it’s a mistake see destructive behavior and ascribe the cause to malfeasance or malicousness rather simple incompetence....but in this case its both. Right now it’s science, natural resources education and the poor paying the price. The huge inequity in income distribution is akin to that of lesser developed world.

This the third try at “trickle down” economics. It didn’t work for Regan, it didn’t work for Bush and it damm well won’t work for Trump. If the only effect were to cause John M. Keynes to roll over in his grave, it would t be so tragic but tens of millions of ordinary Americans will pay the price for the rest of their lives....Amercans who never head of Keynes but are conned into giving trump and the GOP a blank check.

 

The damage is done. Those that needed to see this will never admit it's fake. The college is in the South probably Trump land and the fans of the team want to hear this.

But come on the way it's worded it is so obvious. The vegan bit espeicly. Somehow eating meat is as crucial to the right wing as guns now. They see their enemy as not doing these things.

"The largest and most incredible of the switches from furloughed to essential is that the Internal Revenue Service will officially be recalling tens of thousands of workers -- 36,000 of them -- to process tax filings and refunds. The move runs afoul of previous guidance but will be welcome news to Americans who rely on refunds. Less so for the IRS workers forced to work without pay if the shutdown carries forward. That means well more than half the IRS workforce -- 57% -- will be working despite the shutdown.

They aren't the only IRS employees being recalled.

When the mortgage industry faced the prospect of issuing fewer mortgages because employees of the IRS income verification service were furloughed, potentially slowing home purchases, the mortgage industry complained and the IRS decided to get the service back up and running and allow those few workers to collect paychecks by diverting fees the service collects."
