Nothing matters unless he gets his way. He's a childish prick that should be thrown out! Almost everything he touches turns to shit. "Ï'm probably the only guy that'll make money as president." For once he didn't lie.
Now Chuck Grassley is interjecting himself between the IRS and Congress to protect Trump, because there was a demand letter sent out for the related documents.
This has certainly shown me just how gutless, immoral and cowardly republicans are. I cannot tell a lie--I didn't chop down---oops--- I mean--I detest republicans!!
Now Trump's Farm Bail Out, which had in the first place started after his tariffs, appears to be a hand out to big agri-business meat packing companies.
Hmm so now you are saying it's like the same wall that has been approved twice before by the very same people denying it now? Kind if hard to keep up with shifting sands of Dim logic at work. So it failed before so don't do it again? Or is it, it will fail because it's different than before?
Yeah so you can bet it has nothing to do with it being immoral. It's about politics. And he plans on bitch slapping the Dims even more boldly this time than the previous times. He isn't much on being told if you open the govt. we settle the wall later. He fell for that once. Payback time. Maybe had he gotten more cooperation as the wall got in previous approvals, we wouldn't be here. BTW I am not in favor of the shutdown, but he will own it's outcome like no other president has. Win or lose he isn't screwing around......so far. Some will find that admireable. Whether or not it re-elects him time will tell.
Okay but what is the point of "bitch slapping the Dims" when it isnt fiscally responsible and makes no logical sense
Not to mention the fact that it's really government workers rather than the Democrats he's "bitch slapping". Come Friday, they won't be paid, and as NMRN says, "he will own it's outcome like no other president has." He's backed himself into the corner of declaring a government emergency, which would be a disaster for Republicans claiming to be the party standing for constitutional restraints on Presidential power. The courts will strike it down. Not even the stooges he's put on the bench will be able to uphold that one.
Trump has upped the ante by ordering FEMA to halt funding for wildfires--holding property and lives of Americans hostage for his wall. If we happen to have a wildfire of the magnitude of the recent blaze in California, I'm sure that will go over well with the voters. Apparently, he thinks fires affect only Democrats. Hopefully, his bizarre actions will soon cause Senate Republicans to wake up, smell the coffee, realize what they've signed up for, and jump ship before the Titanic hits the iceberg.
The wall funding shouldn't even be an issue. Trump said Mexco would finance his wall. He should be haggling a deal with Mexico instead of trying to hold the U.S. hostage. Trump has already broken his promise twice by changing his postion on the funding source from Mexico to the U.S. taxpayers and changing his vision from a concrete wall as high as 50 feet to a fence with steel poles. Some of his accolades perceive as an admirable trait his stubborness to try to win an ego battle on a stance that he can't even articulate. It's a desperate attampt by him to try to fulfill campaign rhetoric and satisfy the conservative TV media talking heads like Ann Coulter who manipulate him by accusing him of reneging on his wall promise. Gingrich was afflicted with the same preoccupation of trying to win ego battles when he started his government shutdown in 1995. Initially it seemed like he had the upper hand. He lost the battle and later resigned from his Speaker of the House position after embarrassing midterm losses. Not surprisingly, Gingrich published an entire book on Trump in 2017 and praised everything about him.
