Who is the statue on the horse of?

 

Think European cites would make me feel claustrophobic man

 

St.George.
He is actually standing on the slain dragon, but you can't see it in my pic.

 

Well...not all streets are like that.
Pretty much only the old part of the city.

 

It looks like the perfect set for a Bond movie to have a chase scene through. The camera holds on the statue, to end the scene.

The pic was around 9:15 AM on Wednesday morning. See? No snow! Can you see the transmitters in the distance? They're on West Peak in Meriden, CT. That view (to the southwest) was from Griswoldville Avenue near the Newington/Wethersfield, CT town line

eww. naked trees only look good with snow on them. but that means there's snow on the ground, so it's still not worth it.

 

What are you talking about, Undie! Snow covered ground is great! It's when it melts and becomes grey slush that its not fun anymore.

 

once per year. it becomes a huge headache after that.

i do agree that the gray slush is particularly gross too.
