I don't see much of a conflict.

The Americans who own guns for the most part are pro Trump and will support his goverment (regardless of dangerous policy) against Americans who do not support them. Unless the military protects these Americans there is no long term war. And if they do the gun owning civilians would be dead within weeks.

So it makes no sense to push this. It only encourages the forces that do not like Trump to do something about it. A civil war only works if all Americans like guns. Trump is best where he is now with the tensions being words.

 

Well I think OP was getting at the idea of if he was impeached. Which does hold some basis as there are extreme-right groups and militias that have been preparing for that.

And many of the militias and militant fascists have even been starting to organize training sessions recently with alt-right groups and other (auxiliary force) Trump groups to arm and train for combat.

 

The same silly noise was made about the second Bush and Obama. The party that does not hold the presidential power makes up any and all sorts of conspiracies to support their paranoid beliefs. A few wack jobs playing army in the woods or at urban paint ball facilities does not make an organized force capable of overthrowing at US Government.

 

I think shit's gonna hit the fan soon. Either natural disaster, or war.

The House of Representatives May put up impeachment preceding. The senate will not impeach the president. We will see the same dog and pony show that happened to Clinton.
If we get any type or radical groups crawling out of the shallow end of the gene pool causing trouble. I am sure the small groups of hate filled folks on the left and right will get pleanty of time on the media to make noise.

Why is it that fanatics always assume that regular people give as much of a shit as they do? Do they not have eyes? One side thinks there will be a race war (or whatever) and the other side thinks the proletariat is finally gonna rise up and...I dunno, destroy the hell out of things I guess. Regular people, who are still a majority the last time I counted them, may want to see some changes but definitely don't want to rock the boat too much. Their livelihood depends on the current system, as corrupt and unfair as it is, remaining in place long enough to retire or whatever it is they want to do in the future.

Not really. It's mostly right wing people who have the guns and buy into NRA marketing. This is why the revolution is always talked about. It's a feather in the cap to fight the majority (not the electoral college).
