    HAPPY NEW YEAR'S 2019!

Was just driven home by my friend Scotty the double D. (Home Safe)
Now I'm in bed recounting tonight....

    The party was stellar!!!

I ate my grilled pub burgers
I drank heavily, but didn't act like a slob
I even smoked a killer joint. Lungs were on fire in burn mode. I soared into 2019.
    Champagne and toast was awesome.

No tears of grief, just tears of uncontrollable laughing.

I won't be able to do polar bear plunge into lake Michigan tomorrow. I dont have any wheels. I guess I could Uber or Lyft it......

We'll see when I get up.....

well right at this moment the fireworks, not where i can see them but hear them, are going off right now for the new year.

watched the canadian thing on youtube, even if each hour was a repeat of the hour in touranto or someplace back east.
the sheepdogs for sueth. well 2018 is gone and 2019, well 8 was for mahammid and 9 is for baha'u'llah, and 19 was the 19 letters of the living,
even though, i'm not active in that any more, so what i'm just saying about the 8 and the 9 is more in keeping with the era we're in now.
8 is two 4s, which are rectagles. an octagon is interesting but a nanogon is unique. you can make a ring with them, but you need a bunch of odd star shapes in between if you want to tile a surface,
so 9 or 19, well 19 looks almost round.

so anyway i have this good feeling, because 2019 is one of those numbers that either doesn't fit into any sequence, or if there is one i don't know of that it might, it has to be something strange enough to be good and no be convenient to anything negative.

Woke at 1 am and the power was out. It came back on around 4:30 am. Windy out there. What a way to start the new year.

I wish the world was flat like the old days and we could travel just by folding a map. No more airplanes or speedtrains or freeways. There would be no distance that could hold us back

I keep thinking there should be a "Say it with a lyric" thread.
But what forum does it go in?
