Cookie baking galore, today. lol I made lemon, m&m sugar, and chocolate cookies with peanut pieces in them. They all turned out great. Going to bring some to my parents on Christmas. I didn't think I'd like the lemon ones, but they turned out to be my fave.

My whole body aches from getting the garden and pergola all nice for tomorrow and like my left butt cheek I've torn a muscle or something. I don't know what the go with that it. I just had a hot bath hoping it would rid some pain, I think it made it worse tbh.

If it was summer, yes I might do that. But it's snowing and don't feel like any ice on me. :p
But thank you, I will have a good stretch.

This coffee liqueur is really good. You make a coffee, throw in a couple of shots of coffee liqueur and there you go. Alcohol and coffee. Two ingredients to start your day with. :yum: this will get me though the family Xmas lunch soon.

December 24th in the Eastern Time Zone.

I will try to treat this as a regular day as much as possible. think about this: Doesn't saying "It's July 4th Eve" or "It's Memorial Day Eve" sound really stupid? :confounded:

Anticipation of a thing is often better than the thing

    Therefore, Christmas Eve > Christmas

Sometimes, like especially on a race weekend the actual race day is my worst day because it's about to be over.

I didn't want race day to happen in America ever. I always left the track a bit disappointed and disheartened because I know maybe for some of the tracksz I won't ever see again. I don't care about Texas but Talladega and Martinsville were super awesome and special to me. I remember I would stay as long as I could just looking over the track, it's surreal because I've seen it all my life it looks exactly like it does on TV and so to be there is special, it's through my eyes. Leaving after the race on Sunday really sucked..

Same as when we would stay in Orange or Cowra for Bathurst 1000, we'd have fun since Wednesday but you knew you had to make Saturday night worth it because that was the last night. Then come Sunday, you're up early, moody from the hangover and exhaustion and this is what you came for, you came for the Sunday event, the big day... I always seems to rather unenjoy it.

But I absolutely despise this holiday. I don't believe in it. I also have no kids. The day is WAAAYYYYY too over-commercialized. Guess I'll just have to sleep in as late as absolutely possible. SIGH!

    Was a good day.

Shopping was pretty awesome. The mall was just a few people, but I was there at 10:30am so that made sense.

I picked the right day, the right time, the right store, the right sales girl.... I found the most perfect, beautiful, but ugly Christmas sweater. It was meant to be, the planets were in alignment. The t shirt was pretty cool too.
A friggin Pete's dragon sweater, how's it possible

Christmas eve eve early lunch with dad was very nice. He gave me a card and some coin. Very giving poppa...

I watched the movie Life is Beautiful with the English subtitles. At first I thought Dora was the actress Monica Bellucci, but it wasn't. Very close resemblance.

The movie did bring tears. Alot of them. I didn't have tissues, I just let the tears run down my cheeks.

The father/husband Guido loved his son and wife so much. He knew his own destiny but stayed focused on his love for his family so they'd not be so scared. He sacrificed everything to keep them safe.
I just kept thinking that his love was the same exact love I had for Misty.

The title of the movie is "Life is Beautiful", but for me the title will always be remembered as "Love is Beautiful"

That sounds less than stellar, Bummer about the guitar.

They've been superb both times I've seen them. I was a bit pre-occupied for about half the set, the first time I saw them but the second time, saw it all and they took me on a journey while candy flipping (AL-LAD substituted for LSD). I dosed my buddy and his gf too, with Shrooms + MDMA, was her first time Hippie Flipping.
