i'm really confused about this one. is anyone actually offended by this song or is it just some anti-liberal ploy? because i've literally never once heard anyone say anything bad about the song, but i've seen at a bare minimum 5674218561408375608342175 different posts saying how evil liberals and millennials are for disliking it.

 

I don't even know what the song is. But it sounds stupid. I mean hating the song sounds stupid.

 

Don't know anyone who is bothered either. The song was a joke that seemed out of touch with modern times but that was it. I was not even aware of the song till a few years ago and it's pretty old. It's was never a Christmas song here. Maybe some of that is for a year to come when it's not played there are several where people are uncomfortable.

Like the "war on Christmas" some people need to rally around it. The people I don't like don't like this so I have to like it. Mostly men too speaking for women. Don't worry ladies I am telling you I am offended you are offended. I'm sure some females go out of their way to to download it but all the talking heads on the topic are men.

Hopefully these people can have some holiday spirit and find something to enjoy not focus on hate. I mean think about it. In a time of peace and love you decide to pick a rape song and make the point it's not rape. Regardless of party it does not seem like the right spirit to me. I guess their joy is the idea others are not which is sad.

 

Yeah i'm pretty sure that whole thing is a manufactured controversy, I havent came across anyone who is actually bothered by it.

The bad news is that there ARE people out there (mainly journalists and loud-mouth activists) who are offended by the song. Just because I don't know any parents who let their kids perform in drag shows, that doesn't mean they don't exist.

 

they are usually the ones who try to stir the pot like that. seems a bit odd referring to journalists as a generation though.

if they are, it's probably better to be in their generation than in the generation who lets themselves get trolled by them.
