I can't bring myself to do that to my boy. Initially I didn't because you Forfeit the right to compete in shows if you do, we did one show and got a 8th and 10th place ribbon.

 

Male cats can and will still spray inside the house even after neutering.

 

My dog doesn't mark any territory in the house or out the house and he knows better than to try and bite us lol. Nah I've had him for nearly 5 years now, not going to desex him, we don't have problems. we are responsible owners. 100%

 

I was talking to a vet once about this and she said, it's a neutering... not a lobotomy.

 

Just a quick note on Ljubljana. Then we can move on. With cigarettes at around three Euros and beer at say £2 a pint , somebody has their priorities in order. I went to two supermarkets and found the stock a little limited in variety. Arriving at my hotel a little early for check-in, I made for the nearest bar. Everyone was very friendly and they seemed to applaud my Slav act, as my attitude was a little bolshy.

The central city of Ljubljana is home to around 140.000 people, and is easily traversed on foot. The main square and old town is largely pedestrianised which lends itself to a laid back and easy going atmosphere. Much of the river is traversable along its banks. The river is not wide. Slovenia is largely Catholic and there are some beautiful churches.

The women are beautiful and the men generally pretty tough in demeanour, but no trouble I guess as long as you're not looking for it.

The general vibe of the place is somewhat odd, in a way, with subtle differences to other European countries I have been to. Although not backwards as such, there is a pervading sense of going a decade or two back in time.

There is a large student population and the fashion sense is cool but not fussy. I seemed to get a few nods and winks as I explored the old town. I also walked through some social housing estates and the modern architecture is very fine, such that there are even trendy looking bars set amongst blocks where people live.

I would certainly consider returning, maybe in Summer time.

I adopted two families for Christmas this year. One for me and the other on behalf of Misty.

Misty's adopt-a-family was from the cancer care center.
A husband with terminal cancer
His wife
Two sons
Two daughters
Pitt bull named Sohpie

Pete's Draggin' adopt-a-family was from my work place
A single mother of four children
Three sons
One daughter

In addition to other gift giving and sending out Christmas cards, adopting both of these families made this month of December less depressing and more about living and moving forward.


*Sooooo looking forward to the exciting continuation of "the dancing Elf " at my dance lessons tonight. I've got a pretty fun and witty plan concocted. I love this secret Santa S̶h̶i̶t̶ Stuff.
