Christmas in six days... I don't have to get many presents. Only three. And they're not getting much because I'm broke. I'm seeing family on the 21st and then I'll be cooking dinner on the 25th for my HouseMouses.

Today is my 4 year anniversary with my girlfriend, but we decided to celebrate it this weekend. We're going to spend the whole day together and go to a French restaurant.

Just taught myself a skill on the pool table. I'm trying to learn weight of diff shots that will bring cue ball to centre of the table. A shot that often comes up is 45* angle cut into corner pocket. Now if my next object ball is in the centre then I need to get the cue ball in the centre. Usually I'd probably try to power through 2 to 3 rails with left spin, but I just learned with a very slight draw backspin shot, I can get the cue ball down centre with minimal effort and when I understood the power, I couldn't miss.

I just need to keep practicing so I can memory lock the power required

 

Maybe that's how I should approach the upcoming season in a month? Learn 4 new things, one thing a week. Keep practicing it for a week.

I think my main problem with training is I get bored playing by myself. I tend to try and learn too much. Like I'll learn that shot then move on and never really develop the sense to play it properly.

I'll go have ponder this in the shower.

 

I need to do this same exact thing with my 1 minute and 31 seconds dance routine.

Exact same thing... with power included because of the dips, throws and flips I need to accomplish.
