Then what it is you're comparing the sexualization of preteens to that puts it in your "doesn't stand out to me" file?
The sexualization of our entire society - the advertising, films, games etc that preteens see and hear. In this society, this video doesn't stand out to me as horrific.
creepy thing about dragging kids out. they get comfortable with the sex and dont talk about it -00- /til its leaked after their suicide. as their brains form in adulthood,, its something they might not have wanted.
Of course not, it's just the result of the sexualization of our entire society, and not to be mistaken for a part of it. Sure. And no one said anything about it being horrific. It's simply obscene. Preteen kids being encouraged to imitate the looks and mannerisms of adults trying to draw the sexual attention of the opposite sex. Easy call.
Sure kids should wait to be sexual. But it's you who makes a drag queen sexual. To them it's not sexual. Some are not even gay. It's just a fun time. If you have a problem with adult sexuality what about say a female straight teacher discussing her husband in class. This is an example of an adult making her sexual destines clear. She is "forcing" these on kids they have not decided they like men it's an adult telling them. It's the same idea. Kids live in a world where they see adults love each other.
I couldn't agree more. However, you've not explained your reason for encouraging preteen kids to imitate the looks and mannerisms of an adult trying to draw the sexual attention of the opposite sex.
Child drag queens and/or transgender children are a lot like vegan house cats. It's always the care giver that is making that particular lifestyle choice. And it's a form of abuse...
I Live With A Vegan House Cat......Had Him For 2 Years And He Will Not Touch Meat Of Any Sort...... However He Loves Brocoli And Cabbage....Iv'e Tried To Trick Him But He Wins Every Time..... Cheers Glen.
I think the worst is that it's direct evidence that the sexualization of our society is reaching children, too. And the sexualization of our society is already just banal. I wish people weren't so immature.
It's because the next generation, which is my generation, are all starting to have children and my generation are so political now it feels as if they'll do anything to prove a point and that point is, acceptance and equality. So I believe a lot of it is actually encouraged within this generation and that's sad to me because when I look at the differences between children in generations, I liked the generation my parents grew up in. My generation isn't too bad, it is just the last 10 years or so they've decided to obtain a voice, but it's not really a voice it's just text on social media. Anyway I try to not think much of it, some day someone is going to realise shits fucked up and I'll be right there to shake my head and point fingers.
Most people cannot accept just how brainwashed they are. I have nothing against gay people, trans people, whatever. As long as you're not harming others, do whatever the fuck you want. But if you cannot see a lot of this shit is being pushed heavily for an agenda, you are blind. This is not directed at anyone in particular, but rather just a general statement. All this shit about tolerance and acceptance seems to apply to tolerance and acceptance only for things deemed "liberal" and "progressive".
Completely agree with your last passage. Everyone is only concerned about their own agenda like it is gospel, point the finger, shift the blame.
I worry that people are trying to sexualize children. That they're trying to take the purest thing and turn it into a commodity. 'Cause that's capitalism or whatever. Sex sells. Objectification sells. Materialism sells. Just turn everyone into happy fuck puppets. Scary thought. I just hope civilization makes it. We're obviously at a different level of technology than past civilizations. But civilizations that have gone down this route have crumbled. The basic integrity of family and friendship is being destabilized by all this rubbish. Everyone's selfish and you can't trust a thing you see.
Seems not true in the case of drag queens. Some kids come up with it against the will of their parents/care givers. So it seems what you guys have a problem with is when it is pushed onto younger kids or encouraged. And it also seems hardly anyone here disagrees with that. The criticism on PR's assertion lies in the reasonable possibility that it is not pushed. Just accepted in certain instances where such a kid is getting media attention. Of course its logical to consider it was pushed for whatever reason by the care givers, but its not that reasonable to conclude that with certainty just because we also see certain 'progressives' or 'libtards' pushing change and acceptance out of some misplaced principle
Then why would the mainstream media be giving drag queen and transgender children such a huge spotlight like this? Clearly they are promoting this for some reason. When I was about the age of 4-5, I went through a phase where I insisted on wearing my older sister's night gown. It was girly as fuck. Looking back on it, it's hugely embarrassing, especially seeing pics in my family album. But in less than a year, I got past that phase and embraced my masculinity from that point on. This was decades ago, but can you imagine what therapists and teachers would be telling my parents about their boy wearing girl clothes? Nowadays they'd likely tell them their child is transgender, and kids like that need to be put on hormone blockers to prevent testosterone as they grow up. It's pretty fucked up if you ask me, especially since almost half of all people who undergo hormone therapy and sex change operations live to regret it later.
Look over the thread again All the people that responded in horror, calling this 11 year old boy sexualized because he is in a dress. After a couple pages a pattern emerges. All those responding that way, what do they all have in common? You are all giving your selves away without realizing it
You're confusing horror with disgust. And we're not disgusted with the eleven year old boy. We're disgusted with those who endorse the sexualization of preteen children. You all give yourselves away without even knowing it. And that's kind of disgusting in itself. Preteen kids being encouraged to imitate the looks and mannerisms of adults trying to draw the sexual attention of the opposite sex. What's wrong with that picture? Think harder!
Controversial and sensational matters sell. I'm sure that's good enough for a big part of the mainstream media. If it riles up a particular segment of your society (and its clear it does) that might be another reason. That's 2 plausible reasons already. Anyway, you state: I say that's not true. You answer with 'Then why would the mainstream media be giving drag queen and transgender children such a huge spotlight like this? Clearly they are promoting this for some reason.' Uhm, even if mainstream media was only giving this matter attention because they like to promote it, how does that counter my point? I can imagine a lot (like you seem to be doing). You seem to be jumping to conclusions. Parents usually go the other way around when they see their 5 year old boy wearing a dress, forcing certain principles, mindsets or behavior on their kids. So if forcing a particular lifestyle choice on a kid because he displayed a female characteristic is your main issue here you might wanna look beyond just the drag queens and transgender kids. But its not. Your main concern is that there are kids like this. And you have concluded it can't possibly be without their parents/care givers forcing them into it
Lets revisit this boy when he is 22 years old. I have a feeling we will be seeing a rather confused young man.
