The reason my dad went with the name is because it's a relatively unused name and he's paying tribute to a dog he showed many years ago, that dog apparently came out of Italy and was scoffed at for not being German bred, it was a very good dog though it just never received the recognition it deserved.

I just went through all this with him on face chat hehe. So that's cool, I don't mind the name after hearing the story, I always like tributes.

OMG that other thread I right, porn has ruined the way we speak and interpret things. Tribute. Shame oh shame.

i normally dont dream, so its rare that i remember any storylines.

 

My friend just gave me some THC oil, or CBD oil. Whatever you vape with. Filled half my old vape tank. Said take a few small puffs wait 5mins.

 

Ohhh yeah fuckn oath, I was sceptical of sherbet flavoured weed oil but had 3 small puffs then 2 good drags and few mins later, bros I'm riding hiiigh

 

Revelation, it doesn't last as long as I need it. The initial high is great, but seems to wear off quickly. That sucks. Because it's not cheap.. So I just topped up with two bongs rips right to the skull.

 

Now its time for me to try and sleep. TRY being the operative word.

Two of my cats are sick...I'm really worried about poor little Possum. He has just had a bit of water and can't be lured to eat anything. He is usually lively and very very loving...he just wants to lay around by himself. It makes me so sad, and I began to notice a little change in him yesterday. Today there is no doubt. I think it is because my DAMNSHITING mother continuously has been feeding him some vegetable soup that has onions...despite me telling her, writing it down and repeating it over and over and damn over. Since I'm not actually made of money, I'm very hesitant to take him to a vet since I'm VERY not thrilled with my last visit...read on..

Then my ringworm cat, Princess, that cost me $250 at the vet looks worse now than when I took her and started this ridiculously expensive oral med. I'm supposed to have it refilled "if I need to". good grief I'm about scared to...and I wonder if they diagnosed her wrong. She is eating, moving around and acting her version of normal at least.

(yeah - there are 2 reasons for being very hesitant to take them to the vet - money and I'm not seeing improvement in pretty much any cat I've taken to them. good grief)

I go through spells of dreaming a lot. I tend to dream often about people that are dead, and these are mostly really good dreams...yeah, that's a bit odd I guess. OR I dream about people in my past (but are still living as far as I know) that caused me significant trouble and that I can't stand!!!!!

Yeah sometimes its better if you don't remember your dreams @Faelixx.

I've had issues with my vet. Dr. B just sees me as a cash cow. She's been treating Addison for some digestive condition for the last 3 years. Every few months I bring in Addison for a pee, blood test and weight.

I sit n wait for an hour. (Doesn't take an hour for pee, blood, weight) I can hear the staff playing with Addison in the back rooms, chit chatting, laughing, talking vet drama, relationships....yadda yadda yadda. (Trying to soak up an hour of examination room time) Dr B comes in all serious n professional. " Sorry I'm running as little late....Well Addison is down 2 lbs from last month, we can maybe ween down Addison's Rx to once a day and bring her back and check things out next few months" FBS

She's been saying this type of crap for the last 20 visits at $196.00 per visit. I was so done with her. I left , took Addison off the Rx completely. It's been a month and Addison looks and acts more vibrant than ever. Addison's stool is a tad darker than normal, but it's solid and good consistency. If Addison takes a turn for the worst, I'll have her treated some place else.

@Pete's Draggin' s how did a digestive problem gets diagnosed.....did the vet see the stool?....I call bullshit on a 3 year ongoing treatment.....digestive problems are solved with a food change...not with more pills and stuff to digest....what was the original reason you went?....how much total money on that 1 dog?...be honest?

my dog has never seen a vet.....no shots ….nothing....been 4/5 years now....never had his nails trimmed...never been to a groomer....and NEVER sick.....my only real risk is rabies but there is no rabies outbreak on the island

 

you said it yourself......cash cow?....vets take advantage of people all the time...…..one of my peeves....we've had this conversation in the lounge a few times before....the internet is full of the stories.....you just described the how ripped off you feel...I didnt think you'd admit how much she soaked you for so far.....3 years?....3 grand?

 

oh for Christ sakes...relax handsome...people are allowed strong opinions.....this lounge is full of people who tolerate each others strong opinions....it isnt happenstance we all ended up here
