I kinda know that feeling. For a little over a decade I was connected to a lot of hippies on AOL. We met primarily in the Marijuana Debate chat room, which was created by AOL. But then one day it all went to hell. AOL shut the room down and most of us had failed to establish alternate connections.

I happened across this place by sheer luck in 2002 and have been here ever since. Unfortunately only 1 of the dozens of folks I knew from AOL found this place. Then he vanished.

One thing we did as a group, the AOL bunch, was meet for a party in the worst place in America; Battle Mountain Nevada. It was an epic event and I relive it through pictures. We tried to set up another meeting, but shit got hostile and we figured it might turn into a bunch of score settling and canceled. Oh well.

 

Nah I thought I had a mysterious furry critter takin' up permanent residence on my face. Whew!
