i was playing some pool before, trying to work on my mechanics. right now, or before.. my mechanics were horrible. seems i had become too complacent with my bod positions. I actually think i was hitting the cue ball centre, but my cue was angle. once i saw this happening i was a little shocked but knew how to correct it. so i started getting on top of the cue more with my chest, have the cue stick run more in the middle of my chest means i am staying over the cue more and i had very impressive results in doing so, so i need to do this hundreds more times to get my mind into a routine to get on top of the cue.

it wasnt a long practice period, but i decided since i had corrected a fault and was practicing very well, that i should leave on positive terms with a keeness to get back and correct those faults.

 

now just working on a setup with my car chief for race tomorrow
he just gained me 0.2sec
