No. Putting the coffee in the thing and pressing the thing. Or using one of those things that spits it all into the thing. Boiling water and pouring it into mug with instant coffee is exactly what I can be bothered with.
I like it because of how basic and simple it is. Boil water, pour water on coffee, wait a couple of minutes and press. Highly recommend And since it doesnt use a filter it tastes different (better) than filtered coffee
I've always heard it was a great way to go... That and percolated. But didn't know that thing about the no filter. I wonder if I can even appreciate the difference being a smoker. :/
I always use a filter. Doubt that dillutes/changes the taste in a significant way. In fact i believe it doesn't
I saw one of these babies at a middle eastern market recently Do you put this in another pot or directly on the stove? I saw a method on tv the other day where the pot is put in another pot filled with sand. That seemed cool Am I overcomplicating this?
Oooooo I know what you mean But no, you can put it directly on the stove. It literally takes a few minutes, so I never got the point of coffee machines and whatnot. I dunno, pretty much everyone here makes coffee like that.
