State Your Unpopular Opinions

I never understood people who become disenchanted or hostile with an entire gender. Yes, there are differences between the sexes. But we are way more alike than different. If you really believe that an entire gender is incomprehensible or bad, then the problem ain’t with them. It’s you.

 

Maybe in the modern world where we all have such a disconnection from death, but modern farming and slaughtering methods are relatively new in human history. For the bulk of human history we've been killing and eating our own meat. And more than a few people still do this. Ted Nugent comes to mind.

The men I care for would NOT treat you that way. I can't speak for Noserider's family, but it's quite a rude assumption that she only sees a nice side of them where as you would be treated badly.

 

You said, originally, that women were superior to men. I said, at what? You gave a list of seven things.

You did indeed say that about not saying one was superior to the other, but that went against your original statement,so I disregarded it.

I do like to convince or inspire others about lowering or changing their meat consumption myself. Same with having more women in higher positions (not by quota or overlooking quality though)

I don’t know if your vitriole was aimed at me at all, but if so, my post about having trouble with an entire gender is something I have said on here before, and would say again. I have said it to friends and family. It is meant to be neither cruel nor personal nor sneaky. You are free to disagree. I have has no issues with you, and I would hope that we continue having civil and open minded discussions here.
