My son left this morning for a 5 day business trip. I'm sure part of him is looking forward to small parts of it but mostly he had a ton of anxiety about it.

I feel sorry for him.

 

It sounds dumb, but I'm having anxiety about the upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas). It probably sounds a little selfish (because it is) but I dread all the food that is around during that time of year. Last year I must have gained ten pounds!

 

I remember old magazines use to offer tips to avoid gaining weight during the holidays. I bet you could find some useful tips on line.

 

My nephews are here. They are being cute today.

Bought Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee...going to make some now but thinking it might not be good

I've put cinnamon in coffee but that's about as much of that kind of stuff as I've had.

I hate the pumpkin spice coffee. If I want flavoured, I usually stick to hazelnut.. or eggnog at Christmas.

I don't think I've ever seen that. I think I'm going to try Kraken and eggnog this Xmas.

 

yeah, Starbucks do it here. It's overwhelmingly rich, but tastes like Christmas.

 

I do like hazelnut flavored coffee.
