I dont see hiw Tinder would be any different to the dating sites of yor.

Sure there are some success stories. But i assume that would be when the lady searches through hundreds of profiles to find a guy that checks all the boxes. Outside that its 90 males for every 10 females, with half those guys sending dics pics with the caption "wazz up, wanna hook up?"

How would the ratio be any different whether its 2018 and on an iphone or 2002 and dubyadubyadubya plenty of fish dot com?

Yes, you're wrong because you're oversimplifying things. You're right in that its more superficial than a proper datingsite, AND that it's aimed for hookups more. But in reality its used as a dating site as well, in my neck of the woods even also by plenty of normal people. I know at least one couple with kids (twins lol.. that was a suprise) that at first instance i would not have guessed they met eachother through Tinder! But yeah, lots of different types of folks use it here. Which is also why i haven't ruled it out yet of giving it a try myself
