What's Happening???

Meh, the race winner who gave me his setup, he won by 2.3secs. I was 3secs in front of 3rd so honestly, if the race played out like it did and I didn't fuck up, I would have probably won because the leader made a big pitstop error and gave up 10secs to 2nd. So, it hurts me. It was such a good car too, it was so easy to drive he did such a great job. I'm a little ashamed that I disregarded my teams setups but hey if you get one from the best you take it lol, just a shame I didn't get the finish.

 

Yes but it's very competitive. My race team has actual engineers and crew chiefs that help out, give you info, set the cars up so I can just focus on racing.
Next year I go to a much smaller team, but a better team I am hoping I can pick up a proper sponsor.

We call it a sim it's the most realistic simulated racing platform available, especially for NASCAR. my team now actually all the engineers do Euro catagories we are kind of the laughing stock doing NASCAR and left to fend for ourselves mostly. A lot of the engineers though, work in real racing.

can do anything from dirt to forumula one. all values, tracks and cars are laser scanned to accuracy and real race teams help build the cars for the game so they are as accurate as possible.

If you ever give it a try, you'll be impressed, but it's expensive. To be competitve you'll want 1500 wheel/pedal combos, a fairy decent computer plus all the tracks and cars are paid content and a monthly subscription. For someone like me though, it's majorly worth it. Also opens up avenues to be paid, or, possibly even get yourself a real racing drive like William Byron who was signed to Hendrick from iRacing. That's how accurate it is, you can take a 17 year old kid from this sim, throw him in a real A class NASCAR and he's fine.

So naturally that's where I want to be in 5 years and do good, unlike, Danica Patrick lol.

 

Might take a trip to Philly to trade some beers.

I like jury duty alot.
I take a shit ton of notes during the case. The attorneys see that I'm taking notes and they up their game a bit and get quite feisty. I've watched cases, and when the attorneys see the jurors yawning, looking down or around with blank stares they dont put their A game on.

I got to be the jury foreman once. I always wanted to be that one juror (like in the movies of course) that tells the judge when asked....

Judge: "Has the jury reached it's decision?"
Pete's Draggin': " Yes, your Honor, we have.”

^ the one and only thing I had to say, and I nailed it. I was rehearsing that phrase while the other jurors talked about going home and stuff they had to get done.

I always have a hope I'll get to serve on a big case that's been in the media. The Slenderman case would have be a good one.

I was also fortunate enough to be the foreman of the jury but only because my last name was alphabetically the first one chosen.

The reaction of the defendant was memorable when I stood up and said “Not Guilty” he jumped up and down and said “Yes” then was admonished by his attorney to quiet down.

 

I did it once then next time they sent for me I said I had been done for speeding and I hated the police so they Excused me !
