17 was a good year for me

My best friend when I was 17 and I were wild. I dont know how we didnt die at some point, but here I am alive to tell the tale

I turned 17 at job corps, a month later, my best friend had his head bashed in and he was thrown into the facility pool. it was written off as an accident, that he slipped and fell in. nope. see, two things, one, he'd told a girl off that he wasn't interested in screwing her.. and she was the gf of one of the gang leaders. funny how that happened two days before.. and the other thing.. my boy didn't go swimming. ever. his dad used to beat him, and hold his head under water as part of it. (toilet, sink, whatever he could find) so he was absolutely terrified of water. no way he'd climb the fence to get to a pool. away from one, maybe.

soon as his funeral was over, I put in my notice to leave. I got back to town, started up a gaming group, and started trying to figure out how to build up a life for myself.

At 17
In high school half days.
The other half was a photography co-op job.

Drinking, smoking weed (bongs at Eric!'s house every Friday and Saturday nights) Eric! through the biggest and best house party's. His mom was always gone with her boyfriend and he didn't have a dad he knew.
I gave Eric rides home from school in my bad ass 81 mustang every day. He always gave me the VIP status at the party's.

Got back together with my late wife Misty. *We broke off our little boyfriend/girlfriend crush in the 5th 6th grade.

I hated getting beat from moms
Moved in with dad and wicked stepmother couldn't stand me because I was someone else's messed up kid. I didn't like her either.

Best thing ever though was winning Misty's heart. Till death we parted.

Between the 4 of them they are like 500 years older than you. Thats older than Tuberculosis

Not really. Think Australia is the only place where you'll see surfing make the sports report on the main nightly news.

And the ladies pull as much interest as the guys do. Weve had the female world champ a lot this decade.
