I had a fat cat who responded to food but his fat ass would also book it when I brought out the catnip.

meanwhile, mr nursecat Galileo has decided to take exception to me being up for a glass of milk. he smacked me on top of the head from his high perch, climbed down, followed me to the kitchen, meowing at me the whole way, stood there and meowed while I drank the milk and washed the glass, then grabbed the cuff of my sweatpants in his mouth and started pulling me back towards the bedroom. once I came in here and stretched back out, he jumped up, sniffed my face, poked, prodded and kneaded at me for a minute, then hopped down and went back to the living room and his high perch.

eh, it means in a traumatic event (accident, fall, etc) I'll wreck a joint rather than break a bone, and most of my nerve connections are protected, so.. less overall damage, but has disadvantages as well.

    Bruce Wayne and Lois Lane.

I don't think they were aware they had last names :tearsofjoy:
But they responded to their first.

    my two are for sure.
Galileo's obsessed with me resting, and Bob, well, e's still a baybay! little (well, bigger, now, he's 15 pounds) dork gets into everything, has to investigate all the things. but turns taps on and off, opens the cat food container unless it's in a cabinet, opens the cabinet to get to the cat food container unless it's ziptied.. has recently discovered he can muscle open a cabinet door by breaking the ziptie, open several of the doors between rooms, unplug items from the wall if he feels like he's not getting enough attention.. etc..

don't get me wrong, he's well behaved for the most part, but he's very much a toddler level intellect. glad he doesn't have thumbs.

That's a good idea though. I told her we should make a quilt out of any t shirts we have that we find significant but can't wear. Could be a fun project. We like doing crafty stuff together.

Just installed a exhaust fan in the bathroom. Let's see if this one lasts longer, it's our 4th in as many years. It's cheap, but it fits the hole in the roof is the only reason I get them. Takes 5mins to swap over.
