I watched the video. That's a messed up situation bro. Glad da pooch was safe from the falling debris. It sucks when house shit goes wrong. I'm still dealing with my roof leak. I'll probably need a roofer and a G to fix the thing.

Really? It's nice. Depending on the waves, and weather, it can be fun. I try not to think what lurks below the surface lol, and just enjoy. I didn't swim today, though.

I dont think ive ever seen a stagnant lake?...do you have those down there?....lake I live on is one of the largest freshwater lakes in north America...….the water flowing by this island goes straight down the st Lawrence into the ocean

I feel like there may be sharks in it and avoid it when I can. I used to surf though, albeit briefly. But that didn't ever really cure me of my fear of sharks. It's realistic in my mind to feel anxiety about being in the water with them, though there are plenty of other things for them to eat besides surfers/swimmers.

Moths are harmless but ick.

My mother.

Ultra terrified of bugs and moths and I picked that up from her. I don't care that they are harmless, they still freak us out. See when we moved to Australia, the moths there especially where we lived on their migration path to the snowy mountains, the moth were called Bogongs and they weren't your average house moth, noooo far from it. These things were the size of your hand together butterfly pattern I mean they were as big as a small bird I shit you not.

My mother was terrified lol. And I picked that up too. I'd help her run around the house vacuum them all up lol. So that's my fear of bugs and spiders but my dad isn't afraid at all really, but I never picked that up.

Same with fish, I don't touch a fish I caught unless I have a pair of gloves and pliers to get the hook out I remember one time I caught a trout as a kid my dad said I had to touch it, my mum squirmed so I squirmed and that was it, can't touch a fish. My gradaddy though he gets this trout and puts it on the table bangs its head with a rock and its eyes popped out! Well we were horrified, he thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen lol.

 

why is that though? I feel the same way, but why? Butterflies don't bother me at all and moths and butterflies are basically the exact same thing. And yet moths are so ..icky.
