    I get a text message, a phone call (if I don’t answer a VM message) and a note in the mail 1 week prior to any doctor’s appointments.

    Oh wow. Sudden job interview tomorrow. I got a response less than 1 hour after submitting the resume via email. That changes tomorrow’s plans for sure

    A friend of mine went to Hajj this year.

    Good for him. But all I can think of is two things - heat and crowds :-/

    I feel similarly about vacationing in America. I'm all for travel, but if I go by myself... all I do is eat! :) and say if I went to Ibiza (not that I can afford to even dream of going) I think it would be hot and miserable, and full of crowded places.

    But yeah... I was thinking about even a week long trip to - I don't know, say Mexico or something. All I could think about is what on earth would I eat.

    Just seeing how many people are at hajj makes me panic. I'm sure it's an amazing experince, but the amount of people is too much.
