finally got the other fender done and painted

now i just need to repair the back part..check the lights and repaint the deck


checking brakes and bearings will happen another year because im fed up with job and theyre probably ok anyway

 

I don't have one. My landlord should replace both because they were here when I got here. But landlords are notoriously stingy. It's okay I can buy fresh food daily.

That reminds me.

I need to order front brakes for my car. I think I should get rotors and pads.

 

i usually tell people to buy them and have them ready....


then call me when the old ones are metal to metal

might as well get every dollars worth out of them

 

Do you need new rotors? If not I wouldn't replace them.

 

I had the back ones replaced last year because they were grinding.

The brake light is on again and I've never replaced the front ones.

had to spray raid and take a wasp break..

not interesting in fighting with these ones..they are nasty looking

Heading to the airport in a few to pick up my sister and an old friend from school I haven't seen in like 20 years. It's always convenient when you have to pick up two people at the airport and their flights land at around the same time.

 

Sooo, Purnell has asked me to try a street stock on dirt to see how I go. I'm not very confident on dirt and then had to admit, I don't even really know how to drive a manual. But he tells me it actually feels like you're driving on concrete, just you get slideways when you hit the loud pedal. I don't know what to do, it makes me nervous and anxious, but so much fun too.

he said the tires match the clay, and the street stock isn't 900HP like a sprint car or mud flingers, i won't sideways around the track, he says you more go around like you're driving with a bit of loss traction on corner exits.

Anyway that's the 2nd IRL driving offer I've had since iRacing the first was small circuit, but this is oval although dirt, it's more up my alley.
