I think that when you invite a whole tribe to your wedding then you're also making it "their day" also. They want to get dressed up, they look forward to the food and drink. They wanna tell their friends where they've been. They want photos and memories. I think it's part of the territory.

That was my best friend's attitude when she got married last year, they went into it as if they were planning a party for everyone they loved the most...and what a party it was. Then the honeymoon was just for them

Phone technology is fascinating to me. I got a new phone last week and it's got an exponentially better phone charge than my previous one and about 3x as much storage space. Compared to what the iPhones and Galaxy got going on, it's by no means top of the line but it's wild how far phone technology goes in just a few years.

 

We visited hubby's sister and brother-in-law today.

That man is so strong and doing incredibly well.

His wife and I were planning his surprise birthday party. He will be turning 75 years old in October.

Originally I didn't want to invite anyone to our wedding but we needed a witness and I didn't want some random seeing it if I didn't invite my family so I invited the sisters and their partners and kids. It's like, I didn't even announce on Facebook, but they did and then I get all the "OMG" phone calls and messages. That's how much it meant to my sisters, so to have them apart of our day was special plus it all worked. Though that afternoon and day we couldn't be by ourselves. I'm not sure if this is embarrassing or not but I'll share it, we never even made love on the wedding night. We were out. Until midnight. I told my sister bf we were out, he wanted to continue, I told him I wanted to sleep with my new wife. We got to bed, we hugged and kissed but that was all we wrote.

I'm not sure if it pisses me off or not, I mean the morning after was great, at least it was within that 24hr period. That's my only gripe that happened. Not much of a gripe in the big scheme of things.

More than likely will be I just need to plan the season because, I need to watch nascar and it's a necessity I see the Broncos win at Mile High.

 

Last Thursday on the subway I ran into the Jimmy Buffett crowd coming out of Fenway Park.
How can they listen to that crap. That’s what I get for not driving into Boston.
