I take my boys out into the backyard on a lead and walking jacket a couple times a week. they're not really interested in going out more often than that (I provide them plenty of toys and enrichment activities) so it works out fine.

He hasn't done this for years. I've had my rabbits now for a while. :)

That's reassuring as I'm tempted to get a Norwegian forest cat and I don't want it running away from me lol.

I also don't think my dog cold heartedly killed the rabbits I've seen him since he was 9 weeks old with them. He plays. He plays them to death but never have we seen blood or a scuffle mark. Just slobber.

Yeah, but it might run away from your big bad boy....

I feel sorry for the cat here in the story...:(

Misty had the same exact realization. Word for Word.

Misty decided to have our wedding as a destination celebration that was all about us in Nassau, Bahamas the Sandals all inclusive resort.

We were there for one week.
My dad and aunt came as witnesses for three days of that week including the wedding day. Misty's mom and dad came as witnesses for the same three days.

Every penny we saved was all spent on us and to have the most memorable wedding week ever. It totally was.....

pansies? nah. I just know that 1 - I'm a weak swimmer due to bone density issues, and 2 - I'm not anywhere close to the top of the aquatic food chain. give me gills and some buoyancy, and we might have a different story.

don't get me wrong, I don't fear the beasties. I do have a healthy respect for anything capable of actually fighting me down and eating me.

He's not bad. He just does what a dog does. He gets along well enough with our indoor rabbit so I don't think it'll be hard to teach him to get along with a cat either. :)

norwegian forest cats are also big, like the size of maine coons, but they're not 'so' laid back and limp/floppy and passive. but yeah, if he's good with the rabbit, what you can do, is get a cloth, rub it all over the rabbit, and rub it all over the cat, so it smells like 'family' to the dog. (since he already recognizes the rabbit that way)

should also help the cat associate the rabbit as 'friend, not food'
