I wonder if he would bite you if you tried to hug him. This is a stupid question.

    Or is it? :tearsofjoy:

if the bear's solo (not a cub, or mama with cubs) and ate recently, if you don't appear threatening or food, then it's perfectly possible (but ill-advised) to hug it. however, black bears tend to be cowardly and not immediately aggressive. grizzlies, on the other hand, will eat your skull just on sheer principle.

stick to hairy men. it's much the same thing.

actually, unless you've got an open wound or other blood leakage, swimming with sharks is relatively safer, there's only a few species that're aggressive enough to attack something the size of a human.

Sharks are largely misunderstood and have a bad reputation, but if you know what you're doing and know a little something about the species of shark with whom you're in the water, you can reduce chances of attack to near zero.

LOL and Eric is oversimplifying things a tad.

Cage diving or some other controlled environment (as controlled an environment as the open ocean can be) is not the same as swimming with them.

I happen to like wrestling and playfighting with cougars. aside from cheetahs, they really are the most like a big house cat, temperament-wise
