nah, fuck, just give em a little flick to the forehead. if I punched em, I might actually injure em. is kinda funny though.. they like to think they're gonna come in tight.. with me having long arms and legs. 6 years of muay thai says I can stand chest to nose with someone and knee them in the jaw. and I've turned into the kind of grappler that gets a handful of bicep and gives it a twist and a jerk. but for the most part, I've cultivated a 'I will eat your spleen' look that causes 90% of the problems to happily fuck off and bother someone else.

 

hopefully, once I get a bit better about avoiding the celiac issues, I can put some of my 325 back on. get back up to bench pressing bw+half.

figure if I'm gonna be ugly, might as well be strong. lol

I've never been, nor will i ever be, one of those ripped gymrats. but winding up like old man Kratos? well, I'm fine with that.

and yeah, I'm right about his size right now. could stand to tone up a bit, but, hey, small steps, and no matter how slow I go, I'm still lapping everyone on the couch, right?

 

I was reading recently that it's best to rest a day or two after a big workout to let the muscle cells repair and grow. Working out everyday is self-defeating.

 

yeah, overtraining is a thing to avoid.
I'm looking at probably 4x a week. dreading leg day, though, with the arthritis in my ankles and knees. but I dealt with it as a teenager, I can deal with it now. that reminds me, I need to get some wraps.

but yeah, gonna start slow anyway. I've been out for a while, and it's been long enough I'm sick of staring at the 4 walls.

The people next door got a bulldog puppy. He's off the chart on the adorable scale. I need to get one.

LOL Yeah but they are so cute!!! I never wanted one because they are one of those man-made mutant dog breeds that have poor health and short lifespans. It almost seems cruel to encourage people to keep breeding them, but...well, I guess I'm just a sucker for anything cute.
