I don't give a shit about customizing my burger, the burger wasn't even the issue, for that they had plenty of choices on the menu. The fact that a small fries wasn't on the menu was what turned me around. And if I have to go searching on a touchscreen to find that out...well long story short, I was just happy to go get a sub at a mom and pops place.
And yeah 5 guys is better but not even close to being worth the prices they charge.

 

Ok, the small fires thing, you got me...like McDonald's only has Medium and Large.
And I'm like, you can't fucking have medium if you don't have small!!!!

As far as subs go... *drool*
I'm tempted to go to WaWa right now and get one after reading about it.
I mean, REALLY. FUCKING. TEM *5 minutes later* ted.

Mrs. Frenzy talked me down from driving out for one.
I can make something close enough at home.


Edit: Oh yeah... you're right. 5 Guys is expensive.
(But you get those free peanuts if you want them!)
(And a "small" fry is like a massive shoveling into your bag!)

 

Reminds me of a time I visited a friend at work, he was a manager at dominos at the time. Customer walks in asks for a small pie. Friend says we only have medium and large....(now to be fair, dominos does have a small but I guess the owner didn't see worth it to stock the precut premeasured dough) however the customer again asked for a small pie, friend said we don't have that.
Customer asks "you don't have a small?"...no.
What do you have? We have medium and large.
This went on for 2 or 3 minutes mostly with the customer being baffled and contemplating this situation in between his rhetorical (to anyone else) questions.
Wish I remember what he ordered. I'm sure it was a medium pie.

 

Reminds me of another time I was hanging with my friend and he went into another dominos (same owner but he never worked at this one, nobody knew me in this store) I waited in the car but he took to long. So I walk in the store but instead of talking to my friend I say to the manager of this store (who my friend was talking to) how much is the twisty bread? He says $2.50.
I don't say another word and walk out.
5 minutes later I walk in and ask how much is a salad? He says $4.00. I don't say a word and walk out. 5 minutes later I walk in, look at the menu for a minute, then ask my friend when are we going. Btw, the entire time my friend was cracking up.
We get back in the car and he said the manager said after the second time in the store that if I come back we are throwing hands.
