Not liking the new place.

The air conditioning sucks. Everything else is really nice, though. I've never met anyone here with a dryer. It's a pretty fucked up country in some ways.

I actually feel sick right now because of the heat. 30 degrees Celsius and it's 12:30am. Not sure what to do...

 

It's funny, because one of the things I'm excited about in our new place is being able to set up a clothesline instead of using a dryer all the time. Although I have to keep an eye on the pollen count, because I don't want to be allergic to my clothes...

North Bay cracks down on clotheslines

If your clothesline’s too high, too close to your neighbour, if there’s more than one or if you’ve hung it in your front yard, you’re in trouble.

North Bay’s city council has passed new regulations restricting the use of outdoor clotheslines.

When it's too hot in my house I sleep with the windows open, but not if the neighborhood is unsafe. I hope it cools down for you.

Haha, got me for a second.

Didn't know you were from Hamilton. I lived there for a couple years, 2006-2007 or thereabouts. Most of my Burlington friends have bought places in Hamilton now, so I spend a lot of time there. More dispensaries per capita than anywhere else in the country, too, haha.

 

Lots of rain today, and no lightning yet, so hopefully this helps with the fires.

 

This black dude was walking on the sidewalk past my driveway, when my squirrel was in the middle of the driveway and darted after dude. dude ran away. it was so funny.. he said "that little rat scared the shit out of me"..

That's fairly aggressive behavior for a squirrel.

 

tried 4 time to get video of geese.. fed them and everything but this is the best I got.. dont expect any stunning UFO videos from me anytime soon..

 

I think the squirrel was running in retreat from my dog at the fence. just happened dude crossed paths with the squirrel.
