i do know who is being referred to in this thread, but i also am pretty sure that i have literally never heard of her outside of hipforums.

i just checked her filmography since i know she was an actress, and it looks like she just had a handful of bit roles in not-so-well-known movies, and a bunch of single episode appearances in various tv shows. and then she got famous for marrying a member of a family that is famous outside of the united states. so in this case, i can actually believe an american not knowing who she is (as long as they're not a member of hipforums).

i definitely didn't realize that she was at famous-enough-to-drop-the-last-name status.
