How are things over there?

 

About the same. We had some major flooding a few weeks ago. The whole city was flooded. My house flooded twice in 1 week. That sucked but we started building our vacation house last week so that's good. Haha. Just life. Oh and chasing a 2 year old around.

I got lighter fluid for hands clean up. Works great.

 

i dont understand the flashing either....it doesnt look like you cut it but it certainly doesnt look wide enough to have served its purpose in the valley

 

I am eating the rest of my sushi from last night....7 big pieces wrapped in seaweed with wasabi.....It is too good.....all kinds of seafood inside...and I always love the way they prepare the special seasoned rice for these. I read how to make sushi rice. It is quite involved......I had no idea.

and I am still dong laundry...will be doing some more tomorrow, too. lol It is so nice to have a drier again that seems to be working better than ever...he also cleaned out tons of lint from it where I could not reach.......10 years this thing serviced me well....without even a face lift of any kind...my old trusty pal...good to have you back....lol


Jill was here until 5 pm...when I had to kick her out...lol...not really...I was going with the dogs early tonight . as there was a another band concert tonight and I wanted to beat the crowds.....I asked if she she wanted to go to that, while I exercised.....She said no, she would go home.

We had a nice time....she cleaned out her car with tons of crap she threw out...asking me for a big hefty bag and using our garbage cans out front to dump it in....lol It is easier for her to clean out her car here than where she lives, so I did not mind. I sat in the sun.....lol...and I ran in and out to do laundry.

and she finally took her dishes!


band concert was great tonight out there. It was swing...with old timers....I have two songs in my head tonight that i wll put on a music thread.

 

fighting mosquitoes while trying to do a quick fix for a guy who came to get his atv and showed up with no trailer lights

it was futile...so many problems with his junky trailer i sent him home before it got too dark and will fix the lights another day

 

Went skinny dipping in the river today. Thought I applied sunscreen everywhere, but apparently I missed a spot. Now I’m burned

I go from a small hole to a bigger hole...

Wasn't too bad cutting and beating off old wood.... I should have this done with new wood in about 2 hours.

 

The woodworking part wasn't to bad.
I saw the dark clouds coming for me and did a quickie tar paper job.

It's Bud lite time.....
Then boxing at 630pm

Maybe I'll be using the drunken monkey boxing style tonight.....
Then again it might be a one punch and Pete's lights are knocked out kinda class tonight.
