Huh? Anyway, First Ave and First St. intersect :)

I didn't realize the rest of the country knew the term "Taxachusetts"

    How about Masshole? Cow Hampshire?

Ha! True. Well played soul sista.

Funny thing about that... First heard it in England. From an American, but I like to think a slight bit of irony remains all the same.
Haha definitely Masshole... But Cow Hampshire is new to me.

It was supposed to be a derogatory thing, but I was born and raised in NH and I love cows, so I call it Cow Hampshire in a loving way.

We hosted a grass roots racing league tonight in street stocks around USA International. It was so funny see in the other NASCAR mods you don't need to use the clutch you just get the engine screaming and jam into the next gear, but in the street stocks you still need the clutch so on the first start of the race in the replay you have 18 cars screaming and no gears are changing lol and someone ended up slamming in the back of me, but that got me going :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:I finished my heat race in 4th and the main feature in 2nd in my Chevy camaro. :)

I can't drive at night time. I suffer from ghosting starburts x1000. Everyone knows a ghosting image right? Well let's say I'm driving down the road and a car is coming at me with its lights on. All I see are those light ghosted right across almost the entirety of my vision. It's actually quite pretty. But what it does is it doesn't allow me to see behind the light, so someone could be in front of me and id never see it because this others cars light is all I'm going to see.

So I don't drive much at night and if I do I'm very slow and anxious. It is the same for any light in the day but the daytime is better as I can ateast see everything else. Once it becomes dark ita horrible. It seems worse at distance. If I look into the mountains at night and I see light on the ski trail, we'll that light pollutes my entire vision. I can't see the mountain I only see the light flare.

This photo here is an example of exactly what I see when I look at a car coming towards me. Except this distortion here is at least uniform, my vision instead draws most of the light downwards, which eliminates vision I had in front of me, and a large tear to the left. In still distorts like this in the centre, but I have edge problems.

In this next picture, this is what street lamps look like for me, except, you can see that building still right? Not with my eyes. The lamps will wash over it.

You can forget that "after lasik" shit, if that's the only pitfall and downfall to being able to see half decent I'm taking that gamble. I had no choice. My eyes needed to be shaped with refractive lasik surgery so that I could wear prescription contacts. I feel like slapping bitches who complain about the after effects.

You wanna know eye troubles? You come and spend a half hour in my skin and see how it feels. You'll have a new positive perspective in what some folks have to do in order to see. My contact lenses are not flimsy like most people. You drop my contact lens and you will hear it hit the ground. You pinch my contact lens and you will hear and see it crack. It's "hard". It's a mixture of silicone and hydrogel, gas permeation. They can cost up to 2500€ for one contact and that contact provided you can don't damage it will last up to 5 years.

Glasses will not work for me. I hate it when people ask me to buy glasses. Glasses are flat. They don't work on the distortion and astigmatism my eyes have to deal with.

    ^^^ OH. MY. GOD.

That is unreal, Irmi. So, definitely you better let the Missus drive at night, or Stay Home!

That's some scary shit, and very real when you're physically handling over 2 tons.

When I worked in ophthalmology it was pretty rare to see someone with keratoconus. The few we did see all tested for very poor vision.

The head physician was a corneal specialist but I don't believe he offered corneal transplant for the particular patients he had.

Anyway, sorry to hear you suffer with this condition. Hopefully medical technology will continue to advance in a way that brings some improvement to your vision.
