I'm betting you already know this...but getting a cat fixed won't stop them from spraying...especially a female.

I've seen my female spray (who has been fixed for several years) when she is mad - both inside and out. BUT she doesn't spray much. lol

The male I got fixed (that was given/pushed onto me) was around a year old when he got fixed. Oddly enough, I've never seen him spray in the house, but I've seen him spray on the porch (also a big ole no-no) and lots more than that outside. I figure he's doing that outside to mark his territory. (I'm wishing him good luck with that since this year my yard has turned into a cat magnet). Princess (who sprays just a little) gets like that when I'm making her do something she doesn't want to.

My male sprayer, Gimli-Benny, is the one with 24 toes and he has excellent hunting instincts...so I just deal with what he does on the porch. Plus he is the sweetest cat of them all, except of course for my Brownie Brown.
