Curious to know it turns out.

When I was in high school, I dragged my feet chosing cn elective my freshman year and ended up having to take an agriculture class. We got extra credit if we raised an animal. Despite my dad owning a farm at the time, I spent most my school year with my mom, so any animal husbandry done at my dad's during the summers didn't count.

Well, I was a nerd and the extra credit so my mom went out and bought me a pigmy goat. He was an uncastrated male and despite being adorably cute and a surprisingly loyal pet, he smelled something awful.

Years later I tried goat cheese and couldn't eat it because it tasted like he smelled. After that, I never could wrap my head around eating goat meat, so I'm curious to know if the flavor is more miles than I'm thinking.

Also, I like what you said about venerating the animal and the thanking it for its sacrifice. That might be a concept lost on a lot of people, but I get it. I think the wastefulness and overeating in our society is a direct result in our ability to disassociate food with living creatures. I mean, we all know meat used to be an animal, and someone slaughtered that animal, and someone else butchered it into meat products, but since WE didn't participate or even see it, we can almost convince ourselves that maybe--just maybe--just didn't happen, and then we can use that suspension of disbelief to justify disrespect and wastefulness.

I wish all meat eaters had to see the gruesome reality at least once.

So... yah there's that latter part apparently :D

Looks like the East is for the Celtics to lose now. Unless Simmons develops a jumper, probably won't be too difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if the Raptors are kind of having second thoughts about letting the coach go.

    It does; doesn't it?

One of my daughters friends does delivery of lawn products to Zac Brown's place in Metro-Atlanta. It's called Camp Southern Grounds. She also helps out with the some of the programs they put on there for disabled children. Title Here

    The neighborhood fireworks started tonight.

I'm so thankful for these lullaby tracks on youtube. The dogs really love them.

speaking of dogs, i found the perfect solution for mine when i go camping in oktober.
I will take him with us, and put him in a border kennel only a few km away, he gets nice open forest area and i can go see him every day :)

So now he's reunited with all the players he got kicked out of Cleveland at the trade deadline. None of this makes sense. Either he's thrown in the towel and really is just here to push the LeBron brand or whatever he's thinking, or the Lakers have another ace up their sleeve.

Because no way the Lakers as they are now beat Golden State or even Houston. OMG the media circus that is LeBron James combined with the Ball drama...LOL Lakers just became a sideshow.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It appears LeBron James tried to pull off another Miami like deal by trying to persuade Kevin Durant to join him in LA but Durant turned him down.
