Are you serious? There was plenty of evidence to indict Paul Manafort. A grand jury thought so. He will be given a fair trial, a chance to defend himself, presumption of innocence, "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard of proof, and all the other trappings of due process. So what's the problem? Watching too much Fox & Friends lately?

It's not surprising that Trump says he understands Kim Jong-un so well.

The photos in the following article show Kim Jong-un surrounding by women shedding tears of joy for him. The grandstand photo is the ultimate. It looks similar to Trump's photos with young women (like when he crashed the wedding party at Mar-a-Lago and did a selfie with the bridesmaids) or his Twitter homepage photo where he is surrounded by a group of police and military troops saluting while he places his hand over his heart (a gesture that he needed to be reminded to do by his foreign-born wife during the 2017 White House Easter Egg Roll when the national anthem was being played)..

There's a lot of bitterness over how Trump ran his campaign. Now when his guy pulls some mafia shit and tampers with witnesses, the same people who were screaming 'Lock her up' are silent. I think the 'cheering' probably has something to do with that.

All of this 'deep state' conspiracy bullshit is so transparent I am surprised that anyone is actually falling for it. This isn't politically motivated... we NEED checks and balances on power.

Trump is to right wing nutjobs what OJ was to black people. He taps into their paranoia and persecution complex and uses it to sway public opinion.

Leading Republicans Join Democrats in Pushing Trump to Halt Family Separations

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — Leading figures of both parties demanded on Sunday that President Trump halt his administration’s practice of separating children from their parents when apprehended at the border, as the issue further polarized the already divisive immigration debate in Washington.

Republican lawmakers, the former first lady Laura Bush, a conservative newspaper and a onetime adviser to Mr. Trump joined Democrats in condemning family separations that have removed nearly 2,000 children from their parents in just six weeks. The administration argued that it was just enforcing the law, a false assertion that Mr. Trump has made repeatedly."

Even the Grinch didn't separate the Whoville children from their parents. He stole their Christmas presents, and that wasn't successful at trying to crack their spirit.

A newly-opened "tent city" along the Texas border is now at the center of the national immigration debate. The camp is housing teenage boys who illegally entered the United States -- unaccompanied by an adult.

These 16 & 17 yr. olds weren't separated from their parents.

What should be done with them?

Please tell the full story. Some of Trump's detention centers are for children; moreover, some of Trumps detention centers are for children under the age of 12. In these child detention centers the staff is not allowed contact with the children. So, there are two year old children sitting on rubber mats on the floor and crying...crying for their mothers. And there is no one to hold them. There is no one to hug them. There is no one to help them eat. There is no one to change their diapers. All happening because of the cruelty of the Republican Party.

I posted the story from the article that was cited.

I asked what do we think should be done with the 16 & 17 year old males who are now staying in the tents.

    That's the question I asked.

What should we do with the 16 & 17 year old males that crossed in alone?

So dramatic. Are we really to just accept that children aren't being changed or fed because "staff is not allowed contact with the children"? Sorry, I'm not buying this and I can't imagine why you would. Children who aren't fed, die and so far that doesn't seem to be happening. What's this story like without the drama?

Very true, I am assuming by what you posted, as that's all I have to go on.

I apologize if it offends you.

The full story would include the fact that over 2000 kids, including toddlers, have now been separated from their parents and held in tent cities and other holding pens. Toddlers cry uncomforted because DHS workers are not allowed to touch them. This is barbaric, and there's no excuse for it.

Why not? Isn't hating America fashionable these days? Luckily its not illegal to hate your own country in the US. And we get to call the president all kinds of names if we want (THIS president, not the last one or you'd be a racist). Heck, with THIS president we even get to make fun of his kids, something that rarely happened before.

    America's great!

The fact is that toddlers are being separated from their parents and placed indefinitely in the custodial care of minors, and yes, DHS policy prohibits them from being held and comforted. Changing diapers doesn't cut it. Of course, the children are being fed. Children can't live by pablum alone. The toddlers need their mommies. Your denial of reality may help ease your conscience, but it can't erase the horror of what the Trump Administration is deliberately doing.

THIS President is a monster, using atrocities against children as a bargaining chip to extract support from Democrats for his immigration policy. Surely even a Republican can see that.

America continues to be great, but not for long, if Trump stays in the White House and dudes like you continue to defend him.
