It's obvious what pageants are about. When they began men could be open about it. But now they have to pretend that these women are judged on real skills or accomplishment.

It will make the Trumpers moan about being PC but who cares about a bikini? You can jerk off to better things and that is why you watch. We don't need pageants.

I dont think there is anything with that, as its actually kind of brutal, and the girls can look pretty doing it.

Anyway, i think thats the way to go, not this with the MA pageant. If it was really about their achievements they would allow entrants that are med students that look like nerds

We still have it but the pads are a prefect example of double standards. They have so much less than men because we need to see skin. The appeal is not "real" football like the NFL it's the boobs.

 

Sorry, but why work on Bering the right weight, if not to look a certain way in order to make yourself appealing to whatever gender? Maybe it should only be open to people who are over the pageants recommended weight? Why not do away with the evening gown too? That is also judged on appearance. Equal to bikini judging in my opinion. No more bras either and no breast augmentations allowed. Have they done away with the talent part? What exactly are they judging now? Talent ? How well a woman can do the splits? Does that constitute beauty?

I guess it will go to the one who wants world peace, preferably a transgender man or woman.

 

The contestants could just send in résumés to be read on national TV. The viewing audience would then cast votes based on who they believe to be the most qualified.

 

i assume this year they'll give it to the token fat woman, just to prove how far they've come. then after the ratings come out and they realize that literally nobody is watching anymore, they'll either go back to the way it was, or cancel the whole thing altogether.

We need more life skills in the competition. Can she cook? Can she change a tire? Can she assemble her hand gun blind folded? This is America after all.

 

To me. political correctness and the nanny state is producing nothing except a uniform standard of mediocrity.

Miss America will end up being mixed race, slightly overweight, a few pimples, half educated, with average conversational skills, wearing glasses and needless to say she will have to be transgender.

Just let pretty girls show off their assets, opera singers sing opera and the intellectually minded ones appear on mastermind.

Needless to say, I will be watching the later two categories.
