No, I defend my position. You, on the other hand, hold the position of "Goddam guns!" And when asked to defend your position, you whine about people who argue their position and ask you to defend yours. Other than that, you're doing fine.
Its pretty clear now, its about a girl One of the victims, rejected him, poor little sook got embarrased in front of his classmates But everyones on about america's soul, red vs blue voters, video games, music, and now bloody pics of clothing on Facebook for fooks sake It was some sooky little 17 yr old twat with a GUN!...what the fucks he doing with the gun?, how'd he get it in the first place? There's your problem right there Doesnt happen here, why?, oh thats right........... because they CANT GET GUNS! Fook is wrong with everyone?
I wasnt directing my comment at you, I did see where you said this and I agree. I was really referencing the comment that tried to blame this on liberals who allow their kids free expression..of all the ridiculous things to blame You strike me as someone who always allowed your kids free expression so I wasnt responding to anything you've said and I apologize if I made it sound that way
I see the guy as an idiot, but if we're picking brains here... He doesn't seem like the bullying type. Those clothes aren't exactly hip either. I think it's more likely that he would be picked on for wearing a trench coat with all of these ugly symbols. I don't see that as acceptable behavior, and I doubt it would fly at any high school. So, what's he on about? Probably some kind of loner would be my guess. I don't mean this assessment to be judgmental. It's just my analysis. Anyway, I've ignored a few people due to threads like this one. I'd offer advice to my fellow posters but I'm not even sure I've done the right thing. I don't like to use this feature, but it seemed appropriate at the time, and really it still does. I don't see participation by certain people aside from arguing for gun rights, the second amendment, or shooting down advocacy of better gun control measures. That's a red flag in my honest opinion and I've decided not to tolerate it. So... no big deal I guess.
As to myself, I don't proclaim to know about raising a child. I decided somewhere around 1990ish that too many people beside a parent were the experts at telling others how to raise their kids. To be a parent requires enough effort. To be scrutinized about how you are being a parent, plus the actual effort it takes to raise a kid properly, I made my choice and got snipped. No regrets. And judging from how things are turning out since then, it appears there are less expert parents than there were before. The lack of good parenting could take up volumes! Man I have ZERO regrets personally. But that doesn't mean I don't care about kids getting shot up in schools.
And/Or medications, more intense bullying to name a few others. Guns, and the ability to own them, have been around far longer than kids have turned to shooting up schools with them. To say other kids in other countries are not shooting up schools after they watch video games could be a worthy argument. What is their access to guns in these countries? Maybe they would shoot up a school if they had an easy way to. I am not arguing for a second that guns make it easier to kill people. That is their intent. But again they have been in this country for centuries. It hasn't been until something(s) else has been introduced that pushes these kids to pick them up and kill with them.
The problem is bad parenting, its immigration, its mental health, its the liberal media, its ritalin, its violent video games, its social media, etc etc. It's all these things that also exist all over the world -- but it's absolutely impossible for some excuse-making cowards to even for a second entertain as fleeting thought that it might also be our gun laws. How arrogant is that opinion? To be so certain you're right and everyone who disagrees is patently wrong.
You must have deliberately missed my agreement with background checks and safe storage of guns. But the ignore feature is valuable if you need it. For instance, I know a few on this thread who have used it to block out people with a muscle and brute-force fetish who believe that everyone should be willing to duke it out with a home invader rather than thwart them with a gun.
Kerri, don't burden yourself with the argument. You know and I know you're right. It's not worth it to have to repeat yourself dozens of times. I exaggerate, but really, honestly, thank you for being on the right side of things. No pun intended.
Sometimes they try to blow them up, but luckily their bomb making skills are not that good. At other times they get a gun, not dificult if you know the right/wrong people bu get stopped in their tracks by people calling the police and someone just grabing a hold of them and imoblise them before they can hurt anybody.
Truth. The argument is impossible because so many scared whiny weak men feel threatened and can’t find safety within themselves so they need a weapon to be man. Their so scared they can’t accept any facts that confront their identity
Do you understand that your obsession with muscles and brute force has led you to believe that it's better to confront a home invader with your fists than to protect yourself with a weapon?
I agree. And how much of an impossible argument do you really want to tolerate anyway? It has come to bother me personally, so I don't bother anymore. I know where I stand, and I know which way I'm going to vote!
Aerianne said that you have to know a child to know what's okay and what deserves your concern. You said that that doesn't seem to be working so well for 23 times now. Explain how this incident relates to what you've said: A man committed suicide using a gun in an elementary school parking lot when the school was closed and there were no children present in Clinton County, Mich., on Jan. 3. Then we'll move on to the second incident.
Exactly. There was an attempted mass shooting near here (his gun jammed after he killed one person) and one thing that struck me was he belonged to a small online community of people who functioned as a sort of mass shooter fan club.....and he was the only American, the rest were Europeans. Yet he was the only one that carried out a shooting. Because he was the only one who had access to guns There is a reason this only happens here
